I certainly am not impressed by men solely based on how hey look, no matter how aesthetically pleasing they may be. For me at least, they have to carry themselves in such a way I find appealing and then past that (looks and demeanor/attitude) many more things are important of course.

I know what you mean. While I def do not look like you profess to, I don't look at women & think, "I'd like to fuck that!" I'll admire certain body parts, but I've seen too many beautiful idiots to desire even a short relationship.
& I think you may be right about the self esteem too. My wife says she has never felt that about any guys, including former b.f.s, or even me. And she has chronic low self esteem.
