Free weight hack squats?

Does anyone do these? I've never read any threads about them, so I thought I'd make one, and get opinions. I did them tonight for the first time, and I REALLY felt it in my quads.

So yeah, who's done 'em?

Yeah, I kinda got that problem as well. I was thinking of doing them inside a squat rack, like move the bar up the rack.

Maybe I'll just stick to other exercises. There ARE like 6 million of them.
 
I'm using a bit under 5 on them. To avoid the issues of the bar messing up my calves and hams, as well as being halted by my glutes, I used a cambered bar. Not perfect (have to focus, IMO, too much on not hitting my ass), but way better.
 
One of my favorite movements, for changing up my quad routine. I usually just drag the bar up my hams, like a dead would go up your shins.
