Wasn't getting any responses on this from the other boards. Anyways, whenever I do BB Curls I get a sharp pain in my flexor carpi ulnaris muscle in my forearm. This prevents me from going heavy. I can do DB Curls just fine. How can I strengthen this muscle to prevent myself from injurying it? I've tried stretching it, but that is just a temp fix and the pain comes back around the 4th rep. I do wrist flexors, extensors, curlers, etc once a week but none of them really target that one muscle that is giving me problems.

Start doing only reverse curls and hammer curls for awhile. Rep range 8-12 should work well. If these dont cause you pain, stick with them for awhile before returning to palms up curls. You wont lose bicep size. If anything your biceps will improve. Try it and keep us posted.

I get a really sharp pain in my forarms after going heavy on barbell curls for a while, the pain feels like shin splints in my forarms. Its been happening on and off for years, the only way I can make it go away is by changing my primary heavy movement from barbell curls, to dumbell curls or something else for a while.
