For you bro's that take dutasteride, do you take propecia as well?

I'll be running .5 of duta from this new place I found in india that offers discount drugs that are generics at great prices. Plus you don't need a prescription. De pinga is right...

I stopped test a while back due to hairloss, and recently took a corticosteroid the doc prescribed for me due to inflamed tonsils (antyhing is better than getting my tonsils out at this age) and didn't think twice about hair loss. I am extremley prone to hairloss from test, and just running this drug (medrol) for 6 days caused my sex drive to increase, balls to shrink, and hairloss to start. Hairloss still going strong after a month after I used this drugs, and I only used it for 6 days. Damn! of course a week after i had an Anavar cycle planned, and at a good moment, I couldn't determine what was causing the hairloss. But the hairloss did start a week before the anavar, and exactly 3 weeks after usuing Medrol. Medrol by the way is a derivative of test and progesterone......not good...

All glucocorts are derivatives of progesterone, as is testosterone......Cant be a derivative of both, prog leads to glucos OR test.
Corticos (of the illness they treat) can cause hairloss in sensitive folks. In this case, the drug or underlying condition (telogen effluvium) is causing the loss, not DHT induced.

So just 6 days on this is causing this hairloss? I did get a high fever a week after I stopped which they explained to me could have been a major cause for hairloss in some folk.

Yes, prolonged or serious illness can lead to hairloss as well as the drug itself, USUALLY, when the drug is the causitive agent, stoping use will stop the hairloss, so in your case i would look more toward the illness.

What is the hairloss pattern? How long ago did it start and is it still happening? Is it diffuse (all over the scalp) and do the hairs have a white keratin bulb on the end? Common of TE, if this is the case, you just have to wait it out.

is diffuse all over a bad sign? treatable? i been diffuse for years but didnt think there was any treatment

Diffuse or a balding spot are easier to treat than a receeding hairline. If you jump on a DHT blocker and minoxidil you can regrow a decent amount of hair. I did this and regrew about 30% of the density I lost. I dont look like a 20 year old, but I look a lot better than I did.

My hairline continues to receed slightly however - thats very difficult to treat.

Sudden diffuse is not normally MPB, MPB usually has thinning (not so much shedding) along the front hairline, the temples and the vertex in the back/top of head. Diffuse is shedding all over the scalp including sides but mostly through the top. TE manifests this way and TE is temp. If you see receding in the temples or along the front hairline or on the top/back vertex of scalp, its MPB and invest in nizoral and a 5-AR inhibitor.

wont those hairloss drugs make me lose strength, and libido?

whats better duta or finasteride?

duta is better, is blocks two modes of DHT production (one more prevelant in prostate, the other in hair follicles). Low dose duta or finast should knock down your strength as DHT plays very little role in skeletal muscle.

propecia didn't effect libido at all, and strenght has never been stronger. I don't see that it did anything in terms of strenght and libido
