Follow the yellow briCK ROAD -CK's LOG TO COMPETITION

Fat before a workout helps me a lot too. I can definitely tell the difference. I usually lift in the evenings so I make sure I include some kind of fat, either fish or flax oil, in the meal right before. Nuts are handy if you're on the go too or in the morning if you are having fruit, oatmeal etc.

Trying too LOL pretty much have spent the day figuring out T4 slips, health care, bills and now I gotta change a poopy bum, LOL.

I am definitly going to make it to the gym tomorrow, arrrr LMAO

and when am I supposed to see a difference with it? man am I impatient, but I have been eating sooooo good, even riding my husband about it again.

The back is better right now, I find it is usually first thing in the morning, takes me about 1/2 hour to an hour to get less stiff and in less pain (ho ho ho, for those of you with sick minds LOL) and I am stretching a bit in the morning. As well, right after I work out it is not sooo good, but been stretching after to.

I have a question about YES, and YES it kinda is a silly question. What ultimately are the results I am supposed to see? cellulite disappear? inches go down? firmer tummy?

I realize with clean eating my cellulite will go away again, and it is no where near what it used to be but it is really stubborn around my booty. even when I was at a low weight I still had some so will it ever go away?

It is awesome, but you can't cook it too long cause it gets really tough, but when I first started here the ladies introduced me to it, IT rocks, I buy it from meat shops in bulk.

I am now a bison convert as of this week. It tastes like steak to me, but it cooks really fast, which I like! I just get it at my regular grocery store. I spoke to the meat manager (yes, I'm such a :nerd: ) and he said to call when I want it & he'll make sure to stock it.
 
willto - roony and sbt are right, I find it a wee bit gamy but I do like it better than ground beef by 100%

Roony - the grocery stores here only sell it in the boxes, so I don't like buying it because of all of the perservatives, have you tried it from a meat shop yet?

SBT- thanks, seem to, back is killing me and no weight has come off, it has actually increased. I have noticed my back is really really weak now, especially when I was doing the decline abs, I used to be the star at the gym when it came to those, the owners used to show me off LOL. I can still do 3 sets of 8 but it is really a struggle BUT I will gain it all back.

I am trying to stay focused on my goals and ignore my weight because I do know I am still better off then I was last year.

Big news on the horizon when I know more which will either be tonight or tomorrow I will be announcing some hopefully major awesome news I am soooo excited about!!!!!!

I think that is a great idea!!! I am doing the same thing right now, so I know what you mean! I remember a couple months ago, I had said that if I got above 150 thats when I go on a strict diet or start cutting LOL, but I was there before I knew it and although I have only seen it get as high as 151 I still haven't let it get to me ;)

Oh it has gotten to me LOL. My rants in the morning, throwing clothes screaming I am fucking fat! LMAO, my poor husband, so to make myself feel better I went and bought him a whole bunch of clothes yesterday LOL.

But that is why I am making that statement now cause those months where I was really hurting I wasn't too focused and that didn't help soo now my hubby doesn't have to leave at 5 am as soo he doesn't hear me screaming anymore LOL.

bison/buffalo meat is delicious. and good for you. and expensive.

It helps tremendously with cellulite. It lets the stubborn fat loose that is normally hard to release. Then when you workout it's used up rather than staying in the trouble spots.

I love Yohimburn lotion definitely has helped me in the past and again will be using it here shortly for this cut.

elk is excellent for you, and tastes very good. (I come from a long line of hunters, so have eaten all kinds of wild game.)

I almost hit one with my truck a few years ago. you don't realize how big those suckers are until they're right in front of you...and I was driving a Ford Ranger. lolol That elk would have wiped me out.

I buy venison pepperettes from a guy at work. They're a little dry, but once you get some aliva worked up, it's very tasty.

Thanks, it is MEeeee at the end of august. Take some time off LMAO, uhhh yeah, not going to happen LMAO, time off what is that anyway LOL. Actually my girlfriend and I are planning a total spa day complete with massage so that will be my day.

I will just have to work around it someway, eventually I will figure out how, I am going to the gym tomorrow regardless, actually cross your fingers, cause if the blizzard is as bad as they say it is going to be we won't be going anywhere for a couple of days.

well I found a site that states 305 for an hour of shoveling snow by hand given my weight and height. LOL

Now ther is no warning! They have been saying it over and over for the last two days and now I can't find any updates. Oh well, weather changes every 5 minutes I suppose LOL I guess I will find out for sure tomorrow. I love global warming LOL

AHHHH 9 more days till my birthday. Last year my goal was to get into the best shape I could be in, I think I made my goal, I don't count these last few months cause it isn't my fault my back is a piece of shit LOL.

This year my goal is to continue with it (hopefully do a competition, that was my goal last year,hmmmm, sooooo, we will see, I want to soo bad however I have to be realistic too) and finish my first year of school long distance.

It is a blizzard here, but the gym is only 5 minutes away and I AM GOING LOL. my kids will be bundled up and I am bringing a phone and driving 2km but I am going. Not sure what I am going to work on, my back is getting progressively worse as the days go on but WHAT EVER..

oh yeah, and business deal is taking a lot longer than I thought it would, but it is all good!

After all that I AM NOT GOING to the gym LOL. The weather is insane and if it was just me I would go, but I am not taking the kids out in this, as it is the buses were canceled and my son isn't going to school.

I am testing everything in regards to diet right now, especially since I can't workout AGAIN arrrr LOL. It will be interesting to see what happens when I do.

My flexibility is..... well.... none, tried a yoga tape and I could do it, hard to explain so I won't LOL. I have to find a new back specialist, this one for some reason won't return my calls and from November and is giving me the run around.

-cold, cold cold here today son is staying home for one more day.

not going to. Called my family doctor and he is PISSED! Apparently, I was supposed to get in right away for my MRI cause he knows things just aren't right, hmmmm, ya think LOL. So he is phoning me tonight and I go see him on thursday, He is going to book it and get me a new specialist.

I am happy now that I know at least things are back on track and something will be done hopefully soon now.

Well, my daughter has a kitten & I'm not handling it well. Wifey got a new rocker/recliner & the thing is trying to scratch it already. Locked the kitten in the basement 'cause she was terrorizing the bunnies. If I recall correctly, you can't do that with babies.

Well today is a big BIG cheat day, I could decide on the vodka or beer so I am having both LMAO, and the beer is tasting really good, did I mention it is one of those huge cans, oh yeah and I ate chilli too, oh yeah and oysters and cheese! don't ask, I have weird cravings, and NO I am not prego LOL.

Hubby is going to love me tonight LMAO. Huge emotional eating day it is, both good and not so good.

After my daughter finished her gymnastics today she said to me "mommy that was amazing". One of those mommy moments I will never forget! she hasn't stopped talking about it all day!

Tomorrow, just bang me over the head with a fish if I complain LOL.

everyone have a good week, I hope I can move after this one. I will know by wednesday for sure if we can go skiiing, a friend died and his funeral may be this week. He was good people and young and it was a tragic death, my hubby worked with him for many years so we have to be there for his brother cause they didn't have any parents.

I would tell you where and what I was doing but then..... LOL Going here, there and everywhere this week and I have to focus on studying/working out/kids/hubby/business meetings/doctors appointments and such so a really really busy week.

LOL. I am going to try to take it easy but I am trying to get some strength up before skiing, Better to do something than nothing I think :worried:

Yup, he was a party animal, lived life to the fullest, too much sometimes, was always looking for the next 'good time', but heart of gold and willing to help anyone, which is what got him in trouble and he was shot at a house party. :rolleyes:

well the skiing is looking bleak right at this moment and well if I don't do the spa this weekend it will definitely be next weekend. Kinda have to put off my birthday plans for the funeral probably.

152.4lbs today!!!!! me thinks the new diet is finally kicking in. I know you shouldn't look at the scale THIS much but when your exercise has been non existent for this many months, especially since I know my body I really have to watch it. Especially get in new cals cause I am now at 1800 and three months ago I was 2400.

No workout yesterday, after taking care of the rug rats at daycare I could barely move when I got home. Our family is addidicted to DEAL OR NO DEAL so my daughter and I spent the afternoon making a life size version of the game (yup I am a geek LOL) but it was fun and it turned out AWESOME!

Gym today with new trainer and it will be interesting to see the flexibility program she has created. I am going early to get some tanning in too!

LOL trainer went well, absolutly no exercising until they find out what is wrong :rolleyes: No cario no nothing!

My exercising is completely stretching now, my beginning warm up to my stretchings is a bath. and at this point I don't care as long as this helps. I went on the eliptical before she came for 25 minutes HUGE mistake I can barely walk again. You can see lumps in my back now, all the way up my spine and a little on the right in my lower back.

I go to the doctor on thursday.
