I had a good workout today...Biceps hurts...and hammies and calves are sooooore from yesterday and those box jumps!!! I must admit as are looking better...higher portion that is!!!
 
Oh my word, I want to be you when I am 40 Holy SHIT girl, you look amazing. If I can look like you when I am 40 my husband will lock me up :heart:
 
500 box jumps... lol You're loco ... how high was the box? I was going to do these soon. I
am afraid to do them on the plats at the gym b/c they slide unless I put them against a wall.. Im afraid of slipping & cracking my shin open .. did that before and it hurt miserably.

I did them at the park, they are ?? cement tree guards that serve as benches...
I am posting a picture...What I love and am really proud of is that my landing on the "box/bench" is soooo soft controlled...I am proud of that my best asset, also on my frog leaps...silence kind of like ballet...LOL...

I had a great sleep in today!!! LOL...Finally made it to the gym at 13:45
Great chest workout...and abs are sooooo sore I love doing rope crunches...
Diet so good! The best way to notice my workouts are good...otherwise workouts are good, but I don't see the muscle...
 
Had good tricep workout yesterday, a bit sore today. Thankfully Diet has beeen oh so good, that i have not had the mental need to do cardio...Yay!
I still have not recovered from those box jumps at park...AY! Sore...even though a had a deep deep muscle massage...
M1: 3 egg whites 1 whole egg
1/2 c oats with sweet & low, and 7 small almonds.
Mood...restless
 
Sounds like you have your groove back on! Nice job on the diet and you make me want to try box jumps now.

It is like a turning point, if I stick to diet IT WILL show in two weeks, really show and skin fat will be minimal on abs,

I can see my shoulders a bit more cut, (whatever they are called but I see slices on shoulders) (idiot)...
I know I may be in better shape than many others, but my ideals are so damn high that I do not know if they I will acomplish them.
It has gotten to the point where I can be ashamed of my body...
I am being honest about this so I can help myself and maybe help others who are suffering like me, striving for physical perfection.
I get mad at myself because I do so much and do not have the results I want, I am tired of comparing myself and grading others....
Last night I saw a magazine with Eva Longoria on the cover, and ok...I flipped to the pages where her pictures were...
I told BF...She is pretty, her body is ok, no big deal...They hide her waist, don't show her bottie...He said that is the photographers job to meake her look HOT, and she is.
I think he thought I was crazy, when I just made a gesture...like HOT? (HOT is someone whom I would trade bodies in a flash) Not Eva Longoria...
(If you are lost in my description sorry!)

My point is that my standard of beauty, and grace are so high...that i ca hardly see it in anyone else.
I admire any woman who has a tight tight ass, by plain hard work and diet...

I lived through the box jumps,and some walking lunges...Then Gym leg workout that was gooooooood! finishing that I was yawning!!!You can inagine I was out of energy or glycogen or whatever ...meal 1 and 2 were the same...
3 egg whites 1/2 c raw oats and 7 almonds

The is a great affirmation I think you should repeat daily. :rose:

For ref. in his project I dont remember him ever having me do abs more than 2-3 times a week.

Hun I have achieved more & looked better at age 40 than I ever did at age 20. Sure its harder, but I also know my body so much better, I know what I can do when I focus and I know how to achieve my goals vs getting caught up in that "I gotta starve to lose weight" syndrome.

... it was 41 that threw me :worried:

... :) -- just means I have to learn more about how to manage my body.


You're still an inspiration as to natural beauty & the pure enthusiasm that just radiates from your posts. That alone will help keep you young more than any protein ratios or box jumps!

Good Morning! I did not get up to trin vhest this morning...I have a massive headache...I only had egg whites for early dinner, and 1 teaspoon BP...(estee) brand for diabetics..only sugar free I can find in this side of the world.
I think I will skip training this afternoon...
I was playing with my abs this morning laying in bed and contracting them...
Odd description ahead...beware of dumbness...
it's really funny how the sides next to the leg...-I guess where hip flexors are-
just cave in and somehow push the abs up...My ab muscles are long and not very wide,
so they por up like a little hill and the sides caven in...that's when I know I am lowering BF%.
Mood is better than other days optimist to say the least...
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I had a miserable weekend! mixed feelings crying and laughing like a maniac...
It all began well...really well
We went ot Theatre good show, and Ay ay ay my brand new car was gone!!!
So it was a guessing game...robbed? towed away?
Finally after asking around it seemed it was towed,take a cab in the rain....surprise...BF's keys WERE in my car...no way to get inside the house...HAD to go to the maid's house...in the cab....mad at daughter becuse she had MY keys and was at a party....So the good thing was BF & I did not even fight...or complain...good thing I guess...
So finally after some search my car was supposed to be @ some detained car grounds...my credit cards are still in the trunk...I have not had a decent meal...
Mexico's beaurocracy is soooo bad it may stay there another day...

Bottom line...LOL...will my muscle gains now become losses because I have not eaten well since Friday night?

Thanks Jaime! To top it all off lol...today is the virgin of Guadalupe festive day...so EVEN banks close...Holidays have begun in mexico "puente Guadalupe- Reyes" That means long weekend Ja ja ja...dec 12th-jan 6th.In mexico long weekends are PUENTES.

I could not wake up!! I had a great leg workout yesterday and I took a nap after my lunch..4:00 p.m. and woke up at 6:00...the slacks I bought two weeks ago..fall off me...
Mid section is getting there..and hips almost ready for pics!
Have not had food today only coffee

1/2 C raw oats with water
1 TBSP ground flax seed.
M2 same ^^^
M3 4 oz ground chicken breast
1/2 C baked beans
1 3" diameter corn tortilla
1 oz fresh cheese

I have no desire to eat.
I wake up hungry, start eating and become satisfied soooo soon! It was hard to eat 4 egg whites this morning! 1/2 C oats with 5 walnuts imposible.
I ate 5 teaspoons and that was all I could eat...
Has Anyone had similar problem?
If am thinking of eating protein first in all meals...just in case..
 
Excellent on the clean diet, Florencia!:rose: I haven't had the problem of not wanting to eat, but I do have a protein shake as my first meal.
 
Dentist appointment...I may have braces...on teeth again!!!
Fod bad lo very low cals...no junk! egg whites 1 slice wwbread w/ seeds 1 slice cheese

I am trying to get back into the daily routine...Groceries etc...
Food is still low...real low...
1/2 c raw oatmeal.
4.5 oz ground chicken
1 c peas
2 handfulls cashews...in between meals.
 
I had a great back workout today!
My legs are really sore & tingly feeling, bad circulation???
Must go buy that muscle & fitness mag now!

Now great bicep workout...sore tomorrow for sure!!
I had a small accident last time I did box jumps (:wink:Bunny)
And I sprained my ankle...I went in for Xary today since pain does not go away...
NOT real pain, to be honest...just feels cold and hot...kind of like if I had ice on it...numb, and tennis shoes feel tight...
So it was only a sprain...hope it goes away fast...
anti-inflamatory med...

My food intake was good until I had lunch with my kids...LOL...
Don't even laugh at my cheat...
beef tacos...not even fried, just beef & avocado salsa...(if anyone wants the salsa recipe let me know)
I think corn tortillas are a cheat for me...too many carbs I think...LOL
May have been the food of kings(mayan & aztec) but to me it is plain corn which makes ME fat...
I won't be cooking tonight SO is out with buddies after bike ride training for Ironman Arizona...so that leaves me..here able to catch up...yum yum yum


There is a brownie downstairs in kitchen but it will probably stay there... :heart:
 
Ohhhh bummer on the sprain :( I sprained ankles back in middle school playing basketball and have always had issues w/ them.

Go C your Massage therapist!!! They can help speed recovery by helping align the fibers and do some frictioning in there. Even with inflammation on it they can help, but it will be a B1znatch feeling for you.... :heart:

Hi girls!
Well diagnosis was made for my "sprain" Chronic tendonitis....like 3 tendons areound the ankle...He named them all and I insist on not remembering the names...Sorry for those who are really admired by me with all technical names & issues.
So I am having to dip my foot in a tub with arnica and warm water....
Getting laser & ultrasound therapy on area three times this week with a day in between therapies...anti inflamatory medication and glucosamine complex 3 times a day for 3 months.
Diet has been good, only yesterday was a complete disaster I ate 3 brownies.
If I want to console myself I can say I had no cheats during the holidays, so I guess it was ok...Stomach did hurt after the feast! And right now it feels like I have a bump in the middle of the abdomen.
About workouts...Hummmmm
I am off weights...He sadi a week should do it...I forgot to say I ALSO have carpal tunnel syndrome on right wrist...
AGE AGE AGE...:lmao:
So I have been brisk walking on flat surface & elliptical (which numbs my feet)
and isometrical exercises.
Hope everything stays in it's place....

I am of to park brisk walk, and hope that by Tuesday Dr. will allow me to start weights again.
I miss my weights and I think they go hand in hand with diet...
