Stay strong, girl! Food ain't going to make those people any less irritating. But getting your frustrations out with lifting may make you feel a bit better emotionally. Hang in there! :rose:

Thanks ladies! I ended up taking it out in the gym. I need to make myself think like that all the time Roony, no matter how pissed I am eating isn't going to make it any better. Food is a source of energy, not an emotional crutch.

I HATE when I get this way. I've read that you should just sit down and take deep breaths for 5 mins when this happens. When you're calmer, you should also analyze why you got so angry and how you can change the way you react next time. Yeah, I read a few too many of those self-help books! :rolleyes:

I came into my office this morning and my lifting gloves were hanging on my door and tied up in a pair of shoe laces. Well, there were about 15 knots in the laces so I said screw it and just cut the laces. So I went to breakfast and came back and thought it was pretty funny until my coworker goes, "yeh, that was pretty funny especially since they were your own laces" I look down at my sneakers sitting under my desk and sure enough they were my laces. I was LIVID!!! I went to the guy's office and told him I wanted laces by 8:30, and I think it was already 8:23. Looking back on it though, it was pretty damn funny. The guy came down to my office and put his own shoe laces in my shoes for me. :lmao:

I like him...believe it or not but seeing that little frog and T-Cake's avi actually brighten my day. I know pretty sad but you honestly can't blame me.

Well, yesterday we got weighed in and I was a wopping 154!!! Which means I am overweight for Marine Corps standards, so I had to get taped. Well, according to the tape measurements and the little chart they use I am 27% BF :eek2: I refuse to believe this and lucky for me the gym is doing BF testing tomorrow night. They are probably only doing the 3 site pinch but I am sure that it will be more accurate than this tape measure BS.

Anyways.....today is shoulders and then a 3 mile run with the slow guy.

I kind of forgot to meet the guy to run so it was just shoulders today.

I will be going back to San Diego for about 3 months and then I am heading over to either Jersey or PA (Allentown area) to finish up my degree.

I don't see why everyone rips NJ apart but I grew up there so I guess I wouldn't see why.

I think I have finally realized that I am in a slump. My diet basically consists of girl scout cookies and whatever else I can manage to scrounge up around here. I am just sit of not being able to eat what I want and I swear that I am not going to eat another pouch or can of tuna for at least 5 years. I guess I am just a little bit frustrated today, that's all.

Physical Fitness Test
3 mile run: ran with one of the guys so he didn't fail....27:15....it sucks because I was at the 1.5 mile mark in 11 minutes

Dang, girl! 1.5 miles in 11 minutes? I'm very frickin' impressed. Great job! That was wonderful of you to stick with the other guy to keep him from failing, too. :heart:
