Filling out your frame

bivk

New member
I've been weightlifting since highschool and I'm college now but the one thing I've noticed is I'm the same exact frame as back in highschool. The shit bothers me alot. I do cycles in order to completely fill out my frame so I look pretty big for my size. I'm around 5'10 and at 180lbs but it sure as hell doesn't seem like it for some reason. I barely carry any body fat except for around the stomach region.

I don't know, I'm puzzled. I'm completely confused on how size is really calibrated on your body. Is it due to bone size? or what? Alot of guys have thick bone density and it seems when they gain weight muscle tends to work out alot better filling out the frame.

You hear stories of people going from being skinny to huge but I don't see how this is possible. Your gaining weight on the same size frame it just seems unnaturally unproportional.

I have friends who pretty much vary in weight, but some that are around the same exact weight and height. This shit just confuses me. I never really understood this. But they'll have the same stats, but one will look so much thicker than the other even though they weigh the same and bf% is usually around the same.

I don't see myself that big for my frame. Plus my frame seems small for some reason even though its not. Wrists are pretty small, and my arms are lagging, but I don't know I'm just lost. Problem is I just don't see how I could fill out my frame anymore even though I'm not that big. The more weight I gain the less ability I have to tell if I changed at all.

I'm confused as fuck when it comes to this shit. Just weird how some people seem way thicker than others. If I were to get up to 220 or so for example I would look nothing compared to some of my friends at 220 even though we have the same height. Just don't know what its all based on.

Anyone else as confused as me or what?

It's genetics bro. I have some friends that have trained for years, but by looking at them you'd never know it. You would think that they don't even belong to a gym. They know their genetics suck. They just like training. It all depends on the density of the muscle bellies. The more dense, and therefore the more receptors, the larger and quicker the muscles will grow. Billowing muscle bellies are ideal. Think of Flex Wheeler. His muscle bellies look cartoonish. That's why he responds so well to training and AAS. I wish I could give you a more encouraging response, but hey that's life.

I'm a lean type build/ectomorph - one of my buddies said no matter how much gear I did I'd never get HUGE. I guess he was right?

Maybe not as huge as me being I am an endomorph. However you can shed fat MUCH easier than I can so you win the ripped catagory hands down. I would never says never, but it will take some hard work. I say give it your all and prove him wrong. You might never get as huge as say say arnold or the freaks today like ronnie. But frank zane is doable. He was 5'9" about 190 and RIPPED. I would give my right nut for that physique any day. Good luck bro.

I'm just like you Wayne, Endo/Mesomorphic, get fat really easy, but get big easy too..... I would trade spots with an Ecto anyday of the week..... Frank Zane is pretty damn Ecto, and looked amazing in his day, so with proper nutrition and AAS use, there is hope for ya....

That's right Wayne. Don't worry that you'll never look like Arnold or Ronnie. Nobody will look like them. Just maximize what you do have and thank God that you're healthy enough to train. I think in this sport it's very easy for us to lose sight that we are healthier and in better shape than 99.9% of the population. Be proud and do your best.
