Filling out your frame

I think in this sport it's very easy for us to lose sight that we are healthier and in better shape than 99.9% of the population. Be proud and do your best.

Makavelli summed it up well - we all have to learn to live with our limitations either mental, educational or physical. I cannot learn other languages to save my life but I can lift more than 99.9% of the population so I accept my weaknesses and focus on my strengths.

I'm sorry bro, but genetics are only so much of the equation. I would say I have pretty bad genetics. I started at 6"3 180lbs, now 6"4 235. Like you, I started lifting in H.S. and college. My training and diet didn't get decent until I was a senior in college. I would venture a guess that your training routine is shit, or your not eating near enough. I was able to reach 223 natty, but couldn't maintain it. Have once cycle under the belt, on second one right now. At your height and weight, I would say stay away from the sauce. Just my opinion though.

You must not have been around this sport very long. Genetics are everything. I've seen guys that will naturally smoke guys running lots of AAS. They are few and far between, but they're out there. If genetics are not that important, then why doesn't everyone who uses AAS look like Arnold or Ronnie?

I didn't say genetics weren't a big deal, I said it's not the only thing to take into consideration. In my personal experience, if someone is fat or skinny and can't gain/lose weight, it's genetics if you ask them.

The true freaks that are out there are just that, genetic freaks. It wouldn't matter how much I ate/trained/juiced, I would never be a pro. That's probably 90% of the people that train as well.

But when people like this guy, who are 5'10, 180 after SEVERAL cycles, I call bullshit. You might have poor genetics, but I will say it's more like poor willpower.

a newbie because of a low post count or because he has his own opinion and disagrees with people considered vets on here.......not saying he is right or wrong but what i am saying is this post count/newbie thing is out of hand...

I never said I had all the answeres, I wasn't trying to come off as arrogant. If I did, I'm sorry.

Just because I've never posted on this board before doesn't make me a newbie though. I didn't come on here asking stupid questions and calling other people morons. I offered my thoughts on this topic. Guess I'll just go back to reading on here instead of trying to help.

I've been weightlifting since highschool and I'm college now but the one thing I've noticed is I'm the same exact frame as back in highschool. The shit bothers me alot. I do cycles in order to completely fill out my frame so I look pretty big for my size. I'm around 5'10 and at 180lbs but it sure as hell doesn't seem like it for some reason. I barely carry any body fat except for around the stomach region.

I don't know, I'm puzzled. I'm completely confused on how size is really calibrated on your body. Is it due to bone size? or what? Alot of guys have thick bone density and it seems when they gain weight muscle tends to work out alot better filling out the frame.

You hear stories of people going from being skinny to huge but I don't see how this is possible. Your gaining weight on the same size frame it just seems unnaturally unproportional.

I have friends who pretty much vary in weight, but some that are around the same exact weight and height. This shit just confuses me. I never really understood this. But they'll have the same stats, but one will look so much thicker than the other even though they weigh the same and bf% is usually around the same.

I don't see myself that big for my frame. Plus my frame seems small for some reason even though its not. Wrists are pretty small, and my arms are lagging, but I don't know I'm just lost. Problem is I just don't see how I could fill out my frame anymore even though I'm not that big. The more weight I gain the less ability I have to tell if I changed at all.

I'm confused as fuck when it comes to this shit. Just weird how some people seem way thicker than others. If I were to get up to 220 or so for example I would look nothing compared to some of my friends at 220 even though we have the same height. Just don't know what its all based on.

Anyone else as confused as me or what?

Hey bro, lets try and get you some help. Monopoly19 is going to try and get you dialed in. So please post up your routine, a sample of a typical days diet, cycles run, etc so we can see where you can be tweaked. Oh and you had better not be 20 years old or not only is monopoly gonna get some mad karma, but I will bomb you into next week. :D

Nope, if you have real knowledge this board wants it.

Your post count/karma count doesn't have as much to do with it as your attitude. You come across like a yank. Plus, the fact is you don't know if this is a genetic limit issue or willpower issue anymore than I do. I work with guys that have been working out, eating right, doing just about everything they can (gear included) and they still can't gain size of any magnitude. My calves belong on a 9 year old girl scout, but thats not from lack of willpower, it's from genetics. The fact of the matter is that not everyone is the same, not everyone can pack on the muscle/lose the fat no matter how much willpower they have or how "right" they do everything.

So here is your chance to show that your small karma doesn't do your experience/knowledge justice. Educate us my man. Whats the thread starter doing wrong? Setting aside the willpower issue for a second, why don't you ask the thread starter some questions to see what he is doing wrong in your eyes and help him. Show us you deserve the respect you demand. I'll be the first one give you kudos if you can.

you could have saved yourself some time and just not bothered to write this, i DO help people LOL and i dont need your "blessing" to put forth what knowledge/experience i have....i answer things as to what i have done not what i heard and ive echoed this for some time....i never demanded respect in anything i wrote and the fact that you said i did so is pretty funny, please educate me for a minute and show me where i demanded respect from a moniker on a message board...i have respect from the people i need it from (family, child, co-workers, friends and somewhere at the very bottom of that list is a mesage board).....

ps show your mighty power and bomb me now  like thats gonna affect me

your small mind shows through when you cant accept when someone disagrees with what you say, i guess in your world you are the man (sad)
