Female sex offenders reveal cultural double standard - For BlueTa2, et al

I was hanging out this summer with a guy and we smoked weed in front of these decent looking girls. they flirted with us, we flirted back. i asked em their ages and they were going from 8thgrade into 9th grade. young girls acting like wimmin sluts.
one girl genuinly seemed interested in me and kept looking at me and my friend tried to be a dick and goes "you lift too much your too big", and im like "is there such thing as too big" to the girls and the one who seemed to like me looks at me and goes "no way".
the attention made me feel awsome, and so special and good looking and cool. we were gunna try and get handjobs at first.
as a 19 year old these kids woulda been illegal for me, but they looked "old enough" and certainly acted on it.
i used to laugh at all those college fags with highschool girlfriends, but "child molestation" and statutory rape are alot more delicate and complicated issues than i coulda ever thought

As for the article, nothing about it shocks me or isn't something that I didn't already know.
I have always privately and publicly denounced and shown my utter disgust for ANYONE above a certain age engaging in sex with any below a certain age. When the younger party is UNQUESTIONABLY A CHILD - ie 10 years old I am even more disgusted. But what most of the board fails to realize (and I have said it over and over again) that MOST PEOPLE don't realize that children are becoming sexually active at younger and younger ages. The AMA has documented an alarming rise of STD's in the throats of children as young as the age of 10. THAT IS OLD NEWS FOR ME... WHERE HAVE YA'LL BEEN?
Any adult, male or female that sexes a CHILD (I don't care what the age of consent is, let us use our common sense) IS A DEVIANT ANIMAL THAT NEEDS TO BE KEPT AWAY FROM SOCIETY.
The male board members may joke about "where were these women when I was a kid." Can you imagine how your life would be irreversibly impacted if you knocked up one of these LOONYFUCKINGTUNE broads at the tender age of 10?
NO ONE has a stronger "dislike" for sexua; predators than me.... NO ONE. Especially when we are talking about taking the innocence of a trusting child.
The rage I feel every minute of every day can not be put into words.

the double standard is true. why doesnt to catch a preditor have boys on that board looking to lure females in? because society looks at that as a mental disorder like they said in this article. but catchng a male preditor is a good catch in their eyes. i think its wrong either way.

exactly. men are the ones who, as pre-pubescent or pubescent teens and even older males, are fantasizing about the older hot teacher. Take for instance the Van Halen song, "Hot for Teacher". It's always been thought of as cool in our society. that's part of where the double standard comes from.

Stories like this are very disturbing. The excuses as to why men behave this way and why women behave this way may differ, but it's still a sickness.
I believe there are MANY women out there like this, but it's reported less and women are less likely to act on this impulse than men.
Women should get the same penalties as men in this situation. But like Smurfy said, young men have the "hot for teacher" fantasy, so young men are less likey to report it.
Who knows, this world is just a messed up and scary place.
