only time i feel back burn is deads, but i dont do deads very much, and wont until i strengthen my lower back first, since they have always hurt my back. im planning on doing thme in the beginning of July.
get your lats big with deads first then add in rows once your able to feel your lats more, then do rows while flexing them and pull up with them, thats what I did, if you cant flex them each, you might want to practice flexing them, might help a bit
Attempt to keep your biceps unflexed. If you focus on this you immediately will feel your back muscles take over.
I have strong biceps and they always would do the pulling until I lowered the weight and focused on my back. Then I started feeling the pump in my back as opposed to my arms.
