Fat Loss- must loose 30 lbs in 4 months

Lost about 40lbs last year - respect to Pintoca :)
But put some back on - now trying to loose fat & kep my muscle mass.
Diet I have sorted 50% P 30% C 20% F.
Should I stick to pure cardio 4-5 days a week as I have just restarted (approx 1 hour).
Looking to loose approx 30 pounds in the next four months ( starting next week - got a family wedding this weekend - so no more booze after the 28th April)
Thought's & views welcomed.

it's probably doable, however the booze has to you ( you know this ) and you don't say anything about your diet..

You can work out all you want and it won't change your body composition, you need to change up the diet, and the routine from time to time, keep the body shocked, that will do it for you..
And you probably aren't getting enough efa ( Fats )

My BMR calculated using Pintoca's cutting calculator is 1839 cals - thats weight at 220lbs (100kg) & fat % of 32. What else do u need to know Guardian.

Do u weight train? If so how often?

Do u do any cardio? If so how often? How long? Intensity?

Do u have a diet plan mapped out meal by meal based on your percentages?

I'd say doing just cardio would be bad if you wanted to keep your muscle mass.

while however effective for shedding fat, I'd fear that you'd lose muscle that you want to keep around.

I also find that intense weight lifting is a great way to burn calories as your body continues to burn them long after the workout is finished also it I find it promotes your muscles to stick around and grow if you're lucky. ;)

Lift weights AND do a low intensity cardio. Fast walking for 30-45 mins will get your body into fat oxidation, using fat itself as the main fuel source. It also should make an noticable loss since you won't be using muscle at all as energy. Muscle burns more calories than fat.
