Was so psyched today. Had so much energy. So much positivity. I was so fucking ready.

And I failed ...

I am so pissed off. I should have had it. I dont know what my fucking problem was.

Looks like I have found a weakness. It's time to strengthen it.
 
I am very happy to have so many people post up on my other thread though, having believed in me that I could do it.

damn, I was rootin for ya.

ok, so whats the weakness? tell us about how the lift went, stance, etc. Get it off the ground at all or were there giant magnets underneath the floor? :)

OK...so let's talk about speed and high box deads.

Show me your progression today...what did you do working up?
 
Personally, I need smaller jumps sometimes toward the end. If your previous record is 375, I would've done something like this:

135 x 3
185 x 3
215 x 3
245 x 1
275 x 1
315 x 1
340 x 1
385 x 1 PR
405 x 1

Sometimes a 40 pound jump, when you're in PR range, can really f' with your mind. It feels heavier than it should. I do make an exception with the 340-385 jump because you already KNOW you can do 375. So get the small PR, put the feather in your cap, and go for more!
 
You may have jumped too far between your failed attempt and the set before it.
