I know there are books on this, but does anyone know any facial exercises off hand? Maybe a website I could go to?
Does anyone here do them?

Some people swear by them, others think they're bunk. I don't do any, unless you count my wild expressions when I'm pumping out those last few reps...

Actually I use Botox to stop me from raising my eyebrows all the time. It was making creases on my forehead that were starting to get permanent. Now they're all smooth.

Spatts! You're not suppose to know that word! A clean-livin' family woman like yourself!

LOL

Ah, the joys of Japanese porn.

I used to do some exercises, but then I realized that I get enough of that when I work out.

FitFossil -- Did you lose any of your ability to express yourself by raising eyebrows? Did it freak you out at all?

Actually I can raise my eyebrows when I really want to, but I don't get all those horizontal lines across my forehead anymore. The raising eyebrows was just a bad habit - I did it unconsciously all the time. The lines across my forehead were starting to stay (even when I wasn't raising), and it made me look stressed and tired.

When I got the botox, it relaxed my forehead muscles and gave me the equivilent results of a browlift, everything just sort of smoothed out, even my eyes look more open. It may not work this way for everyone, but for my particular problem it's been dramatic. I am able to go longer and longer between touch-ups, because like any muscle, it gets weaker when it's not exercised. My one muscle that was TOO strong! :)

Thanks for the info FF. This is the only kind of cosmetic procedure I've ever given any thought to (I've had the boob-job fantasies, but I guess it's not for me).

I use my eyebrows so much that I can do the Mr Spock thing without thinking about it, and without the makeup he used. I'm Japanese and I have pretty thick eyebrows.

My boyfriend says it makes me look like a Klingon though, cos it wrinkles up my forehead so much. I tend to hit him a lot (which he doesn't appreciate now that I'm getting stronger, lol) because, of course, I look more like a Romulan than a Klingon.

Actually, I wish I looked more like the Vulcan in the new Star Trek series.

Meow!

Enough geeky references?
