Extreme weight loss

Myway, you don't have to change things overnight, in fact I recommend to do it gradually or your body will reject it. I was a coffee addict, lol! the way I did it was to cut down gradually and in 1 or 2 weeks you're having green tea. The last couple of days of your cutting down should be with decafeinated coffee, if you don't do this you'll get a number of unbearable symptoms.

When you buy organic, try to get LOCAL organic and if they don't have it, that's fine. You go with the process of elimination.

Cut cheese down gradually as well. It doesn't have to be overnight; just know you have a goal of being healthy for the rest of your life. This way you'll have a lesser change of getting sick because your body will be a fine tuned machine.

I'll come back to give you name of fish oil and almond milk recipe. Now I have to work..LOL!

I have NO PROBLEM doing this gradually... especially with cheese. That gonna be hard. I have done fine with the coffee (lol, its only been a few hours:rolleyes:) I had a hot cup of water with a couple of lemon slices. It's actually really good. Since it was hot, I kinda felt like I was having coffee. For breakfast, I had oats mixed with almonds. I'm REALLY going to try for more water. That's a BIG issue for me.
I'm on my way out the door to hit the grocery store. I need to pick up some new food.
No worries about the almond milk and fish oil brand. Take your time. I know we all have a life outside of EF. I hope you have a great morning!

It has 6g protien I think...

I know I need to eat more of them but they are a little too "filling" for me. Because of my history and the fact that regressed a little over the winter, I'm just not comfortable being that full yet.

I do count calories, for the same reason you do...to make sure I'm eating enough.

Neff, even if you'd have the whole package, which you said you don't, it still not enough. There is a process of learning to feel full. I had an issue with food as a child because I spend my childhood being depressed as a result of being physically, emotionally and spiritually abused by my mother, so I'd lose my appetite. That, even though is not an eating disorder coming from wanting to be thin or heavy, it behaves as such, so I revert to those feelings of being 'comfortable' when hungry. So, when I'd try to eat more food, I was miserable bc I couldn't stand the feeling. I know what you're going through and you don't want to get older without resolving it, because you'll really get comfortable there.
I'd love to help you with that and I could do it privately (not on an open forum). Pm or otherwise.

Myway, I come in and out; that's the only way I can do it.

Ok, the fish oil! Get either Carlson (lemon or orange flavor) or Metagenics fish oil (excellent). If you can't get this in your local health food store, get it online.

Raw Vanilla Almond Milk

1 cup soaked almonds
(Soak in a bowl in the refrigerator overnight and rinse before using)
3 cups water
1 vanilla bean, seeds scooped out
3-5 Hard dates (soak hard dates in water for 1/2 hour or overnight) Start with 3 dates and if its not sweet enough, add more. I usually use 3. Once they're soaked, they get very sweet.

To make raw almond milk blend the soaked almonds with the water until smooth. Then strain the mixture through a sprout bag, cheesecloth, or strainer into a big bowl. Save the almond pulp in a container and put in the refrigerator for later use.

Put the almond milk back into the blender carafe and blend in the vanilla seeds and dates or other sweetener until smooth. This milk will last in the refrigerator for about 3-5 days. Shake well before using. Variation: Blend in a banana and use a pinch of nutmeg to make a festive rawnog.
