Effects of AICAR or GW in Well Fit Endurance Athletes

I know that studies have shown some positive endurance effects with these peptides - I wrote about it not long ago.

I haven't seen a lot of logs from distance runners, but I did find this AICAR log by a guy running around the time where you want to be.

As far as GW goes, I know that it forces your body to use stored fat instead of glycogen for energy, while also using up bad cholesterol too. AICAR comes into the equation because it can pretty much do the same thing without exercise, while enhancing the endurance effects.

Long-term research is still lacking on these peptides, so I don't know about the endurance effects in the long run. But I'd imagine that your body would eventually switch back to preferring stored sugar for energy after going off these compounds. However, the leaned-out effect that you would have achieved would still be there.

George, do you have any experience with Telmisartan and/or Meldonium as an alternative to GW and AICAR?

Hi kirf, I don't have much experience/knowledge of Meldonium, but I know that Telmisartan will give you pretty similar endurance-boosting results as GW and AICAR.

George: Thanks - do you have more experiences and inputs for how specifically to use Telmisartan to improve? (cycling time, dosage, timing of intake in relation to upcoming competition etc.)
