You should force him to train 6 hours a day. Get rid of all those distractions like video games, homework, and friends. You aren't his friend, you're his father.
he wrestles and plays football, baseball, guitar and piano and he's really good at math and running...hopefully he'll be good enough at one or two of them to have a fun/fulfilling life that's a little less ordinary...that's about all i want for him.
my daughters are in 8th grade and they've already established themselves in the regional music scene and they are both in the top 5 in their class...they're already well on their way to a life less ordinary...plus, music is something that they'll do for the rest of their lives and something that they'll pass on to other people.
