Does someone's sexual past matter to you?

Don't agree here as being single to me equals a free pass to have fun. When single at somepoint I will get tired of 1 day or 1 weeks stands and slowly want the feeling of a relationship back. When I go into a serious relationship its always one on one and I never stray. I think I never stray because when I was single I slept with whomever I wanted to and sewed the wild oats so to speak.

I will tell...but only to someone who means a lot to me. This is generally the way that I chose to look at it. A person's past is just that, their past. If I like who that person is today then I must accept their past because it has made them who they are...
I must somehow know that they are clean, though...even if we do use protection. There is just too much stuff flying around these days...

I have a few opinions on this. You see a while ago I split up with a girl who I liked a lot. It was a mutual split, I think it wasnt working for either of us. Anyway, she has an, errr, colourful sexual past, which she usually didnt talk about and when she did there seemed to be a little extra to tell or an addition to a previous story etc. What the hell im gonna post it all here since no one knows her and she wont ever read ths forum.
1. a guy when she was quite young convinced her she wanted to sleep with him. He is an asshole he also did the same thing to her best friend. Bastard.
2. an ex boyfriend
3. threesome with 2 guys (they got her drunk and kind of persuaded her thats what she wanted to do) Ever seen chasing amy? fingercuffs indeed. They are both assholes and I am sure they hope they never meet me.
4. One night stand (she was drunk and the guy persuded her etc)
These are the cases where penetration occured. On top of that there have been instances where there was no intercourse, including a three on one scenario (she was drunk and... well you get the point)
With me she was not really interested in sex and we never did "it", and if she had not told me this I would have wondered why she was not interested in me sexually when she said she liked me so much. I would have thought she was using me. But since I asked her about her past I could understand why she did not want to and I was totally cool with that. So it was important for me to know about her history. Plus I can teach some people a lesson for taking advantage of someone who was intoxicated and impressionable.
Thats about all I have to say about that.

You sure had alot to say about that curacao!! 
It would matter to me if maybe they cheated alot before, or if they were some kind of male prostitute. If it was a really high number, it would really bother me to a point where it would affect the future of a relationship. I would also be worried about any latent STDs that just havent shown any symptoms yet....*shudder*..

but given (i assume) she had protection (condom) when she had sex, it didnt phase you, right? i mean so what if she had 4 or 40? if you had the same you'd be a greater risk to her....im not having a go, this questions more directed to everyone
and 3 and 4 sound like he same mistake twice. i dont particulary respect people that take advantage of others but given she was a consenting adult whodrank willingly and agreed to sex (even though she was less inhibited) why should those people have to 'answer' to anything (this questions for you
