its weird how some people who inject themselves full of fina, do dnp and sweat like pigs or spend a sizeable amount of their paycheck on GH cycles cannot just chill out once in a while and smoke some herb, laugh their ass off and generally have a good time. chill out guys. its only THC. its not like anyone is advocating smoking crack b4 a workout.
there has to be more to life than just BB.
 
When i smoke, my brain and heart race, and i cant sleep for shit. and i wake up the next day lethargic and unmotivated.
so i stay away
 
fuck pot!! i dont know anybody who smokes pot (that lifts). i used to smoke a little when i was young, but it made me lazy. i would never think about it now. i have achieved too much to fucking smoke a bowl and skip the gym to play video games and eat a bag of chips. i try not to judge, because i know alcohol isn't good for you either, but it just looks like people need an excuse to be a pothead; like you need our approval or something. ive seen post like this for a while, and it confuses me. although some people are doing worse shit than pot. oh well, my 2cents.

I am chilled , you cocksucker. Just kidding, I do believed that limited use of pot is probably quite harmless. I don't smoke pot, but I enjoy a few beers or drinks some time. My concern is with those who drink or smoke dope each day as a way of life. I also have a concern with those that state that pot smoking is healthy. I also dislike those that strap bombs to their own bodies and the Maryland sniper, however I'm quite fond of freshly douched pussy.
 
i just wanted to state to all that i am not a pothead. i smoked pot in the past and quit despite picking up the bad habbit of drinking. let me add that i never drink more than a 6 pack during the week. many posts said that you shouldn't drink while you are cycling because you are harming your liver enough as it is. so this made me wonder about what effercts pot had on the body. i thought if it didn't harm the body i could use it to relax instead of the occassional beer i drink to relax. i guess if you are gonna be serious about lifting you should do nothing to hurt your body!:D

btw, nice post Silent Method, very informative and educated. I am a chronic, chronic smoker.lol I light up everyday and have so for the past 4 years; however, it isn't to just get fucked up. I have battled insomnia my whole life and pot has been the best medication for that. I've tried ambien, restoril, etc., with no luck. Benzo's knock me out, but the sides and addiction to them are too risky. I do occasionally toke up before a lifting session and have to say that my focus and intensity are unreal. Now if I were to stay at home and not force myself into the gym, I'd feel lazy and tired. Once I'm in the gym though its on. Causes me to zone in on what I am doing and block everything else out. I'm not condoning the use of it, because its not for everyone. I have friends who are worthless cause of daily smoking. My point here is that smoking marijuana is just like any other outside factor influencing an individual... it is different and specific for each individual, just like bodybuilding is. What happens to one person doesn't happen to another all the time. So to each their own. If you are a lazy ass cause of pot, then don't smoke it. If you have a use for it and can be productive such as myself, then more power to ya. I'm currently a senior at UCF with a 3.8 GPA and work 50+hrs/week. I train 4 days/week aerobically in the a.m. and anaerobically in the evening. Thankfully I work at a gym for those 50+hours.lol
 
pot smoking..

I read in Muscle mag or Testosterone that pot smokers although they consume a LOT more calories (with the munchies) they don't tend to put on any extra body fat.. (and definately not muscle) which means that it's probably not the "best" thing to do while working out but if you're working hard your going to grow no matter what you do.
