I have to say that once upon a time, in a land right here before I met my hubby, I didn't have sex for over 1 year.....sadly, I got used to it (by yourself just doesn't cut it y'know??)

You know its funny, I've been happily dating for a few years now. Nothing serious, just kinda flings. My mom was in NYC like 3 weeks ago, and starting asking me about who I was dating. After saying out loud to my mom that I wasn't that interested in anyone I was dating I got kind of depressed. I don't go home alone when I don't want to.... but now I'm also kind of realizing it's about time I stop screwing around (somewhat literally) and try to look for someone that I actually want coming home with me every night... not just for the night.
PS, that's about the only time you'll every get a somewhat emotional, non wise ass remark from me!

I read somewhere that "men need sex in order to feel loved, and women need to feel loved in order to want sex" and I feel that that is so true.....

Yes, women need sex. However, most of us also have more self-control than men, so we're able to satisfy our needs on our own if we don't want to lower our standards to the available partners (of which there are too many not to have high standards).

Well true, but I don't like the way I felt about myself when I had sex with people I didn't truly care for....
So whether or not it's true love is one thing but I can't just arbitrarily screw around.....some days you need to do your wash by hand, hehehehe

TB, oh, I regret some of the relationships I've been in because of the emotions involved, but sex had nothing to do with it.
