I know the feeling. I can still remember the exact date the last time I made love to someone.... September 15, 2002. And even then my most genuine affection was wasted on a totally pathetic man....

There are so many times when I get so discouraged about everything and just accept the fact that my days will come to a close alone and only after seemingly endless and fruitless struggle.

You know its funny, I've been happily dating for a few years now. Nothing serious, just kinda flings. My mom was in NYC like 3 weeks ago, and starting asking me about who I was dating. After saying out loud to my mom that I wasn't that interested in anyone I was dating I got kind of depressed. I don't go home alone when I don't want to.... but now I'm also kind of realizing it's about time I stop screwing around (somewhat literally) and try to look for someone that I actually want coming home with me every night... not just for the night.

PS, that's about the only time you'll every get a somewhat emotional, non wise ass remark from me!
