Do You?...Even just a little

Vel --

For every box of the sugar free/fat free instant pudding, I prepare it as directed but with skim milk.....BUT before adding the milk, I incorporate a scoop of vanilla low carb protein powder (you may wish to up the liquid just a bit to keep it from getting too thick)....but it is yummy and another sneaky way to get some protein in it.

My son does not notice the difference!

No kidding? Wow, this I will have to try! What brand are we talking about with the protein? Isopure?

So, I imagine it's not like putting food coloring in your egg whites, huh:lmao:

I have used protein powder in my SF/FF pudding for ages. What a wonderful way to get my daily protein requirements! And I use Isopure vanilla, along with pistachio, chocolate fudge, butterscotch and banana cream flavors pudding. Now my mouth is watering, have to get some pudding!:FRlol:

Hmmmm do I know you? ;) That food coloring thing really got me and I suppose the rest of our group! He is something else that man of mine!

I generally use Designer Whey but we have some other one in the house now (not sure what it is -- it is in a Costco size container).

Isopure with sf/ff pudding it is!:p

When I make s/f pudding with protein powder, I substitute water for the milk. HOWEVER - this only works if you use a protein powder that thickens; if you use whey isolate (or other powders without thickening agents), your pudding won't set with water. You'd have to use milk.

From my wanderings, I've read your metabolism increases enough when PMS'ing to allow an additional consumption of 300 kcals/day. Can't remember where I read this though...
