Do you always make eye contact?

i like this question. i think about eye contact a lot. i do that often enough, because i'm curious. i'm always looking at other people, and eye contact creates a momentary connection of some kind. i prefer to look at women, naturally. however, it's not usually natural or comfortable for me, and i often look away after a split second.

this is something that i 'work on'. it is a question of confidence, certainly. i don't, however, consider any of this in terms of respect or courtesy.

the respect and courtesy part more comes in during a conversation.

Seriously, I'm almost blind so looking from afar or whatever means nothing to me, but when I'm close to a woman, like in bed with her, looking in her eyes, or just before I kiss her, THEN the eyes have it. or Just talking really close, intimately, smiling, talking, eyes making all these weird jestures at each other, almost making love to each other with your eyes, that's cool.


but nope, no eye contact for Hector on Main avenue on my way to Home Depot in the morning. He's probably married anyway.
