Do Pro BB'ers LIE about their weight?

I didn't think the women in the pictures looked that much different to the weights they were claimed to be... maybe #2 was stretching the truth a bit but the others looked about right to me. But then again, I'm crap at guessing ppl's weights. What weight do you think the woman in pic # 3 weighs? I wouldn't mind looking like her :p

I'm honestly surprised that some of you think the weights are accurate! I mean downright shocked!

I'm using 2 simple principles to gauge the accuracy of their claims.

1) Direct visual comparison to my picture.....I don't think any of you would argue that these women have more muscle mass than me, right  ...I weigh 126ish at 5'4".....

and.....

2) Muscle weighs more than fat.

So I just cannot fathom how this woman weighs 126 (meaning the SAME WEIGHT AS ME)

VD im not agreeing that these woman say they are the weight they claim,,,,,

but lets say a girl who was 5'2 weighing 126 lbs of pure muscle,,she is going to look huge compared to soneone who is 5'6 or 5'8 thats why its easier for shorter girls and guys for that matter to look bigger.

But the girls in the pics are no where near what they have stated.

VDL, one thing that springs to mind is that you seem to have a narrow frame. From your pics your shoulders do not appear to be that wide at all (I am referring to bone structure). The little bit I could see of your hips* from your other pics did not indicate a great deal of width there either. Many of the women I coach (all heavy events such as women's field events, PL and OL) are surprisingly heavy for their weight. Most of the ones who do well are rather wide for their height, without being fat. The exception being a couple of the OL'ers.

If you do not feel that you weigh enough, start hanging around with more powerlifters. You will learn what it is like to plan your weekly meal schedule around all-you-can-eat buffets.

*Note, I passed up the obvious opportunity to request a booty shot under the guise of juding your width here. You should be in awe of my self-discipline. I personally am quite amazed.

He asked "How tall are you and much do you weigh?" I told him 5'5" and @125, and he said "No way." I said well, I'm sort of muscular, I really do weigh that. Not convinced, he pinched my tricep with calipers. Then he said "Wow, you're really lean, but 125?..." Then I pulled up the robe sleeve and flexed my bicep (not something I do very often-or ever up til now, but I had to prove the point of this thread). Then he said "Holy Toledo, you DO have muscle!" :D

I would have thrown on my gown and left the building..anyone thar stupid should not be cutting on you doll!

He's not doing my surgery, but not because of this. I'd already picked my doc (surg is March 7), but still had this consultation scheduled from earlier (they kept rescheduling), so I went anyway.

Figured it couldn't hurt, it was free, and I could pick his brain. I got a bad feeling about this guy when he first walked in the room. He acted all rushed, and a bit cocky, so I deliberated asked and re-asked lots of questions.

It definitely reconfirmed my confidence in the doc I picked though.

Keep us posted on the process, if you wouldn't mind FF, I am seriously considering the proceedure myself...

VD, I entirely agree with ya. No one is listening. Those women's weights are realistic for their height and build and level of bodyfat/hydration. It is ridiculous to think that they actually weighed much more than that at the time the photos were taken. I'm not sure what this thread is about, but there's a big difference in weight between a female that's contest ready, and the same woman that's 16-18%% bodyfat and fully hydrated.

This thread is about me dead set on gaining weight in hopes of one day competing....then I look at these RIPPED women, with these LOW WEIGHTS and I'm suddenly feeling like a cow.

But your point about these women having no bf or water is well taken.

Thanks :)
