Do deadlifts give you the 'bodybuilder' look?

I think I have seen this at Olympus Gym. Is this the little platform thing that looks like it has a t-bar type bar that pulls up between the platform and is low to the ground?
 
I do deads every over week because im worried that it may be too taxing on the CNS to do them every week. What do you guys think?

wide grip pullups right, because I just started doing those a month ago for the first time and my back has probably gotten a 1/2" wider no BS? I can only do about 8 strict now, when I get to 10-12, I'll start holding weights between my legs.
 
Don't go too much wider than shoulder width as this will put alot of strain on your rotator cuffs. Yeah, I'd drop the reps in order to use extra weight. Personally I like 4 sets of 6 reps with a 25 on the belt. If you dont have a belt just hold one of the chick dumbells between your feet. Also, anybody else have feedback on trapbar dl's, there the bomb.

i do them every week, every now and then I take a week off but they are a staple in my routine
 
I've always done squats and deads in the same week with no problems, I just make sure there are plenty of rest days in between
