I had my right distal bicep tendon repaired on 3/5/08. Surgey went well but I can not open or extend my fingers and thumb on right hand. I do have good wrist movement and can grip things. I can not open or extend my hand or fingers..... The Doctor used single incision method. No Doctors will tell me what is going on other than I have a radial nerve palsy and it should come back. Five months and nothing!!!! Will the fuction of my fingers and thumb come back? How long will this take? Is this something I am going to have to live with? Did my Doctor screw up and he will just not tell me??? I need help and answers........ ps- I did have a person in the medical field tell me something is wrong. With a radial nerve palsy I should have a dropped wrist and no wrist movement..........
