Diet upgrade

Hi,

I am eating 4800 calories a day split in 6 meals.
40% carbs
30% protein,
30% fat

and have gone from 212-220 over the past six weeks. I've been at 220 since then, and am wondering if it is time to add more calories. Could I just add more carbs? I mean I am eating 300grams of protein a day already. Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks for the info. So you say I should increase my carbs. I will. When I do increase my calories, should everyhting bump up in proportion, ie grams of protein go up?? I mean, the rule is like 1.5 grams pr/pound bodyweight, right?

protein should be higher than carbs

As far as diet goes, a suggestion is to go 33/33/33. If you plan to increase carbs, it might be a good idea to eat them post workout. I mean a huge post workout meal. Increasing carbs during non-postworkout periods might increase fat storage.

If you are not concerned with gaining muscle mass then it probably doesn't matter. If you are, its important to make sure your training and recovery are also apt with your diet.
