Assuming time is irrelevant what would you think is better...eating a 600 calorie meal 5 times a day, or eating 10 300 calorie meals every 1.5-2hrs....maybe not 10, but like 8every 1.5-2 or aiting for 3+

Depends on who you ask... you know the people who think small meals every 2-3 hours speeds up metabolism, then you'll get the study posted showing these frequent meals had no affect on metabolism for the subjects being tested etc. On going debate.

I think that maybe when Im a few weeks out from my comp I'd do the meals every 1.5-2 hours, but for the average person I dont think something like that would be optimal unless you are a gung ho fitness enthusiast just testing things out to see how YOUR body reacts..., which BTW I totally encourage b/c how will you know for sure unless you've tried it yourself?

I don't think there is an overall 'better' .. i Think it's subjective. $.02

agree..to each their own. do what is more convienant and enjoyable for you..if im pre-occupied an entire day id rather go 3-4 hours between larger meals, but if im home with nothing to do i tend to eat more often but smaller amounts.

i dont think eating 10 meals a day will significantly effect the metabolism from eating 6 times a day..
 
during the week I start at 7 and go every 2 non stop till my head hits the pillow......laegest gap is 3 to 630. I find I feel 100x less bloated and am confidemt that 8 to 10 300 to 400 cal meals are much easier on the body than 700 Or 800 every 3 to 4...

I absolutely agree with that if you're eating 700-800 cals per meal, lol dang.

I would prefer the 3-400 in that situation.
 
you are female bunny and tiny (in a good way trust me you look good!).......so obviouisly your cals would be less...
