Diet Question

I am going to go back on a high protein diet again but I have a question. What do you eat when you want something sweet? When I got on a high protein diet, I really crave things like chocolate and cake (even though I never eat much cake anyway). Any advice?

For me I take in alittle fish oil at every meal, and I don't get those crazy cravings any longer. But you can have protein pudding or light jello.

Take some L Glutamine. It helps with cravings. Take it when you wake up, b4 and after a workout, b4 bed, and when you get a craving.

Heres how you can have your cake and eat it too: its one of my saviors when Iam doing a high protein diet: In a tupperware container:

2 scoops of Chocolate Ultra Size protein powder by Beverly Intl ( you must use this kind as its the best to cook with)

add just enough water to make a pudding consistency

Microwave for 30 seconds- it will blow up to a cake size

Add a dollop of fatfree whip cream and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will love it!! I even add chopped walnuts as an extra treat

Also, sometimes you just have to fight a craving. Cravings should not ALWAYS be given into.

Dieting is hard, it sucks. If it was easy, nobody would be overweight. Being on a restrictive clean diet is something that takes strength and determination. You have to be stronger than your cravings.

That said, giving in is not a BAD thing exactly. But it is not something you should get into a habit of.
