diet high acid uric levels

the doctor told me to stay away from red meats otherwise my acid uric levels will keep me home for a long period of time, and the second problem is that I'm currently on a bulking cycle and red meat was my main source of protein, so I would like to know what other meat can I take as protein source and not increase my uric acid levels, thank you.

you can derive your protein from non meat sources even like eggs for example

chicken, turkey, and fish are really good protein sources too. and then there is always the younger guys favorite the whey isolate shakes

you really don't need as much meat as people think, nor do you need as much protein as you hear about on forums or magazines. it is absurd that people think you need 300g of protein a day. you need protein to build muscle yes, but in the western diet we already get so much. we actually need OTHER stuff in our diets like vitamins, minerals, hydration, and things like SLEEP that we fail to get

we know from studies that 1.25g per pounds of body weight is going to be more than enough protein per day. and really even 1g per pound is more than enough too. that would mean a 200 pound guy needs 200g a day.. that is PLENTY and if you aren't gaining muscle on that then there is something wrong with your training and genetics

There are tons of other protein sources. Just start switching it up. Try things like chicken, turkey, ground lean chicken/turkey, tuna, salmon, eggs, nuts, and protein shakes.

Excessive red meat consumption is not healthy. I agree with your doctor completely on this one. Red meat is fine in moderation but I would limit your consumption to 2-3 servings per week.

The healthiest protein source you can consume is wild caught lean fish. I base my diet around wild caught fish, lean poultry, eggs/egg whites and a high quality whey isolate powder. None of those protein sources will increase uric acid levels the same way red meat will.
