Diet Experts: Please help me design a cutting diet.

I am going to do a cutting phase after I reach my desired weight..A little information about myself right now I'm at 220 5'8"-9" 18 years old..BF at 15% ....I'd like to get to 225 or 230 before I begin to cut and eventually get down to 200lbs or so..

As for the diet itself I'm pretty clueless..I'm eating pretty clean at the moment and I did a search to see what other people have used for cutting diets...I'd like to keep the protein high and the carbs and fats at a moderate level

Would be very appreciated if people could post up some sample cutting diets that they have used or just things you have thought up...

What are you eating right now???

Diet consists of

Ground Beef, Steak, Chicken Breasts, turkey occasionally, white and brown rice, vegetables (string beans, broccoli, and lettuce mainly)tuna, oatmeal,ANPB wheat or 7 grain bread, about 1.5 gallons of water per day, grape and orange juice

Also cheat 1-2 per week, usually pizza

As for supplements I have about 2-3 protein shakes daily and just started using creatine, Also take a multivitamin.

I'm averaging around 300-350g of protein per day, 4000 cals or so..

I can elaborate more later but right off I would say drop the white rice and bread. The juice probably has alot of sugar in it so be careful how much you drink. Everything else looks good. Make sure you are eating 5-6 small meals. And 4000 calories sounds like way too much to me bro.

Oh and I don't see any fats in your diet (flax oil, almonds, etc...) so definitely have that and Dont cheat Twice...once is enough.

oops, sorry about that, actually the 4000 was just a guess, I'm getting in 5-6 meals per day plus shakes. One could say that I am a hard gainer, but I don't really like that term because it implies that there is nothing I can do about it(read: EAT). I started out at 150lbs at the same height with BF probably only 2 or 3 % down(was never lean, very veiny, etc). I'm also bulking at the moment(as cleanly as possible) so that is the reason for the high cals and large amount of red meats.

Forgot to type some more important things out concerning the diet, I am getting in both flax and olive oils as sources of EFAs and have almonds or cashews almost everyday.

Maybe it would be easier if I typed up a diet and got a critique? I've never done a cutting phase before so I have really no idea where to begin.

Thank you for your help,I gave you some karma.

keep it simple bro. Its cool to have rice just as long as its in the caloric bounderies...meaning dont over do it... bread is cool too ...as long as its whole wheat (yam is a better complex carb, is natural which means its digested slower verses wheat bread that is refined, faster absorbing) If your leaning up and dont want your energy to wain, I would suggest eating more fish and chicken breast. Steak is cool, but only eat choice cuts...that saturated fat will get you every time if youre not careful. oh yeah with every meal make sure you continue to eat your veggies
