Did my first jab yesterday

Well my gf did it for me in my glutes with a blue (23g x 1.25in) after drawing with a green (21g x 1.5).

Used pharmacutical grade test enanthate (norma) and didn't feel a thing! Went in nice and easy and was so shocked at how it didn't hurt a bit.

The only difficult part was that she couldn't aspirate much - she tried pulling hard on the syringe but it didn't budge much, if at all. Any advice there, or is that normal? No blood at all of course.

So yeah - those who are worried about injecting for the first time - don't be!

Next jab is Tuesday night in the left glute and I'm actually looking forward to it!!! LOL.

When you aspirate the plunger will be hard to pull and all you
should see is a small air bubble at the bottom of the syringe.
Then your good to go.The only time it will pull easy is when you
hit a vein and then it will fill with blood quickly. If your in a vein
Do Not Inject.

It's easier than swallowing tabs, my gf did it for me the first time too!

I'm also new at the jabbing thing... When I was a kid, some nurse who was still in training screwed up when she drew my blood... Luckily my dad (works with the Red Cross) came in between and saved my ass... have been afraid of needles ever since!!

Was scared as usual, when my friend was going to inject me with Deca for the first time... The guy is very experienced when it comes to steroids (was a pro cyclist in the '70s so he knows how to inject... lol) It turned out to be painless... I always put a piece of bandaid on it afterwards, so it doesn't stain my clothes... it's the kind of tape that doesn't come off in the shower... pulling that mofo bandaid of hurts a lot more than the injection!

No way I could do it myself... at least not yet... babysteps!!

I would feel weired getting my girlfriend to do it, I am surprised she doesn't freak out. My girlfriend would freak on me now if she still knew I did it.

Congrats. My wife did my first one too, but it still took me an hour to get up the nerve and I didn't even know it when she finally stuck me. It didn't hurt a bit and I was using 20g pinz that came with the redijects. After that I actually started to look forward to the next injection. If you hit nerve it hurts a little, but you usually dont in the glutes. This time I'm going with 100mg of test prop every day.

So what would happen if you went straight into a vein? My last injection of EQ bled like a som-a-bitch. I never draw back to check for veins or artery punctures, I just stay out and away from the ass crack towards my side.

Ouch 20g pins! I remember those days, I started to just shoot the redijects into a regular pin.

Chances are you went through a vein and did not inject into it, always happens to me. I'm not entirely sure what would happen, but I am sure some of the bros here can give you some stories.

i've injected hundreds of times and only hit a few veins (although I seem to be hitting a lot on this cycle). Anyway, if you go right through one you could have blood squirt out... that's always fun. Oh yea, and you can hit a vein on your ass even if you don't shoot by your ass crack.


BTW, I had a friend do my first injection. It was painless.
