dessert recipe that is legal???

For my chocoalte kick, I like having a bite of the Detour Carmel Peanut Bar. Isn't everything "legal" as long as it is in moderation and you live a healthy lifestyle?

I am going to try putting a little of the choc instant pudding mix *sugar free of course* in my pro shake tonight and dabbing a bit of cool whip on top.
I just miss the warm soothing chocolatey goodness of fresh baked brownies, etc. Looking for something chocolatey and warm as sort of a "comfort food"treat that is not toooo sinful.
I know I am trying to lose bf and all but, I can't survive w/out something treaty once in a while. :)

you are correct darlin' ;)

Cher you do realize that you can have a brownie every now and then. You should have a cheat meal at least 1 a week, yes you should eat clean, but hell what's the point if you don't have something that you enjoy once in awhile.

Personally I like to call my cheat meals reward meals, reward yourself for being good all week long.

Oh and I'll just like to add that this weekend I went to dinner with some friends for 1 of their birthdays, and there was this delicious looking chocolate brownie cake that kept calling my name, my friend kept telling me to get it... And I think twice I stopped myself from ordering it. That's right I didn't get it, although I wanted it badly, left the restaurant and I was fine.

So if I can say no to that, you can say no to the brownies too.... ;)

Nuke a sweet potato/yam
slice in half
take out the flesh
whip, add some maple syrup
put in fridge until cool.

YUM

(you could of course eat it hot but somehow it seems more dessert like cold)

Bravo!!! :) I have said no to dessert at the last two family bday parties (aside from 1/2 of a choc. chip cookie at the last one.
Unfortunately there is another one coming up this weekend...and I am to make the desserts :worried: . My hubby turns 31 tomorrow...and my sis is having a bday in a few days.
I hope I can control myself. I do find it best to try not to have any, because i'm like a druggee w/ sweets,....more more more, y'know! My plan is to guzzle a lot of water like before. I think I have been slacking a bit on the water..and yesterday was not a good day for me. I blame the lack of water for part of that!

My favorite dessert, which doesn't seem too bad, is sugar free, fat free hot chocolate, with a bit of ff kool whip on top. I'm a definate choco-holic, and that seems to keep my cravings under control. :p
