Deadlifting my way to Happiness - Al420's log

Weight this AM: 223

Todays workout:

Deadlift: 135x10, 225x5, 275x5, 315x5, 365x5, 405x3

Seated Cable Row Type Thingie: Treilin told me I needed to do more upper back rowing to help w/ my shit posture so I tried this. Done w/ lat pull down bar and pulled to high chest. 45x 20, 135x12, 165x10x3

HS Low Row: 4 plates x10, 6 plates x8, 6 plates x7

Brokeback Bicepathon :rainbow: - fun, mad pumps, and a ripped hand - deads got the "lid loose". Did 3 diff exercises and 3 sets per all to failure w/ a drop set at the end of each. Arms were 4-5" shorter leaving the gym.

I have to say I have become a free weight snob. A core whore if you will..(Core Lifts that is as in Texas Tea...) I really enjoy deadlifting 405. Why my back squat stalled is beyond me.
 
Nice gains in strength so far. What is your weight and bf at now?

IMHO my body looks ok for a natural lifter and not like a girl maybe you are envious or is a man-body a fatbody like yours ? - btw me also deadlift more than double of my bodyweight....

That's one of the funnier things I've read here lately.

Reramp your back squat. I know 315 looks better on the bar than 295, but there's no point to it if it's not going anywhere.

I think I'm going to start correcting people when they foolishly congratulate guys for non-World Record lifts.

I went into the 5x5 template and I think I see what you mean - I am way off on my warm up sets.
