A lot of your problems are because you are using 35's and not 45's on each side of the bar. You need round 45 pound plates for deadlifting, not much else will work.
The deadlift is a hip exercise, not a leg exercise, you will learn this in time.
Get your legs closer to the bar, again you will need 45's to make this work better.
