Dang it's cold

over 20 degrees colder here than yesterday.

shorts and sandals yesterday.........

I keep the temperature 60 degrees so It is less of a shock when I go outside but it feels like eight degrees outside.

This is the first time in my life Ive been in below 32 degree weather.

It's 15 fucking degrees outside.

My wife has been trying to convince me to get a pair of earmuffs. As a male, I cant see myself wearing them.

She is correct. Men do not wear earmuffs. Nor do they use umbrellas.

You don't like umbrellas?
Who doesn't like umbrellas?

It's just a little water.

Doesn't the military not allow male soldiers to carry or use umbrellas or something?

Then again, I've never exactly been in a position where I need to walk 10 city blocks in dirty, black rain whilst in a full suit or anything...

It is fun in crowded cities because you can hit people with your umbrella.
It is the perfect way to release aggression on strangers.

It's even better in less-crowded cities where you can simply drive to your location. :D

Upon reflecting over the many years of my life, I believe the only times I have even touched an umbrella was to press the release button in an attempt to hit my brother with it as it extended.

Umbrellas are actually kind of useless.
They worked well for me in the rainy season in Costa Rica cause I was wearing strappy shoes and skirts while I was there.
But they suck when you're wearing pants.
Your shoes always get wet.
I like full rain gear.
Notice that the people in NY trying to sell you umbrellas are always wearing rain gear.
