even if you change the race of the victim and keep the facts the same, I think the jury has a hard time convicting the shooter. if you go changing the evidence and facts then you've got a completely different case

I agree that the evidence does not even come close to supporting a murder II charge in the Zimmerman case.

But Zimmerman did harass a 16-year-old that was in his own neighborhood walking home from 7-11 and it led to an altercation that left the boy dead.

You can make the argument for manslaughter and if it had been black on white crime, race likely would have changed the verdict.
