She didn't that I'm aware of, but seeing as how she can't stay out of the clubs with different guys every weekend and pawns her 2 year old daughter off to the grandma on the rare chance she gets her so she can go get wasted and party, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point she did.

my wife did...and we're not helicopter parents...just called and checked in to see if things were ok and if they needed anything...but then again we spent years of our lives and $50K-plus out-of-pocket to make the first two...and we figure that we only get them for a handful of years and then they're off on their own so we're involved a lot.

the woman that i work with, her youngest is a senior this year but when she was a pre-schooler, she would take her lunch break everyday, drive to a place close to the home where she was during the day, and sit in her car and eat her lunch and watch her play in the backyard.

i guess we're weird and i'm ok with that :whatever:
 
I get what BB is saying and I know you care bro but I don't look at it the same way. No one is right or wrong it's just a way to approach life. We are all entitled to our own opinions and approach in life I'm not here to say who is right or wrong. I'm willing to take the chance at getting "burned" again with the opposite of that being reforging an amazing relationship with the mother of my children.

From the moment I met her I fell in love. I like to think I love her unconditionally and this is my way of showing it - be willing to forgive but not forget and try to move past it and have a happy and loving family. If the time comes where I feel we are not being loving or happy and the kids would be better if if we are separated then I am ok with that. I will have known I did all I could to make it work.

hard to bang a dude at work when you can't hold a job. We didn't work because she is a fucking child and is somehow getting less mature as she gets older. The judge called her pathetic in front of the entire courtroom and lectured her on being a fucking retard and told her to get her shit together or she'd lose more than she already did.

I got everything and full custody. Never been happier in my life

good for you! thats awesome. my ex is a lawyer who started in family law initially. ive seen it where the mom was the worst person/parent in the world and still got everything. i mean literally, drug addict, no stable living situation, shitty or no job, criminal record and tendancies...yet the guy still gets put through the ringer.

Yeah I am starting to hear more and more dads getting custody and assets and shit. Good thing, cause I've seen good guys and great dads get the shaft just because they were the man and were just expected to bend over and take that shit and like it.

And pokey it was really just a ton of shit finally coming to a boiling point. I put up with a lot and was very patient, but it's tough to move forward in your life with someone who wants to be a single 18 year old in their own mind. She is getting worse and her mom is the exact same way. 50 something and still hits the bars cause she isn't mature enough to find a decent man who will stick around.

Z, no. I have a gf but it's nothing serious. She just ended a serious relationship about 6 months ago and is pretty much in the boat I'm in.

Plus, i'm not gonna have random bishes around my little girl.
