Contest prep without AAS

Hey guys, want to start off saying I AM NOT NATTY, but my brother is, and wants to compete in his first physique at the end of the fall (I believe Novemberish; may even be Dec idk)

But he's only 20yo so he doesn't want to use AAS (though he's expressed his interest in being national level/competing for a pro card so he knows he'll eventually have to juice)

My question; is there any point in him even competing as a natty? Should he wait the extra 1-2 years to pin if he's going to do it?

My suggestion was Test prop, EQ, and var (but sure some of you fellas can better that)

But if he does go natty he said the furthest he'll go right now is some clen. What do you guys think of a 20wk prep w/ clen (I'm not too familiar w/ clen) and maybe add in a SARM or two on top?

Thanks, I can probably get a pic from him if ya'll need it. Remember he wants to compete in physique

It depends on his genetics and the level of the show he is competing in regional vs national qualifier. Juice is a part of the sport all the teen and collegiate nationals competitors juice. Now saying all of this and he's only 20yro I would say he should build his body up naturally and juice when he's 24-25. No Clen is not a good idea for a full run cycle.

WHy not? Competing is just for fun so he can do it any way he wants. It makes no sense to use clen though. It isn't very effective and far more harmful than a mild cycle.

If he wanted the biggest advantage supplement wise, I'd say to use UNLEASHED, BRIDGE and a shit ton of GEAR. That'll be pricy, but that will yield results far beyond normal diet and supplementation.

Okay thanks guys, as I said I don't have too much experience with clen (well actually none, not a lot of knowledge).

I'll look into some of those products you mentioned as well Nelson, I think I'll just have him run EC. How did the suggested cycle look tho?

Imo, dieting without drugs is waste of time. You lose everything except for your gut..

I would highly recommend a sarms stack for him... He could build high quality, lean muscle and really harden up and cut up nicely... All the components of the triple stack would offer huge benefit for contest prep... www.sarms1.com for the highest quality sarms...

Haha you're entitled to your opinion but I agree with Nelson that comment is absolutely absurd. My father won Mr. Illinois with nothing more than a good diet, and at barely over 200 lbs. blew away all the competition that was obviously using and 40 lbs. heavier than him. Has a lot to do with genetics but there are many true natural bodybuilders that are in phenomenal shape. Blame it on your genetics, diet, or training that you can't get ripped without drugs, but to say something like that is truly ridiculous.

To the OP:

I think your brother is fine competing naturally, and if he found the right show could do very well. I would STRONGLY suggest he try to find a tested show if he wants to compete naturally. It will help level the playing field much more than a non tested show. There are a lot of guys that still juice and come off right before a tested show, but he has a much better chance at competing at that level, and it will help him get a feel for the stage for the future.

I would tell him to stay away from Clen, and look into some natural supplements to help him along the way. If he is open to the idea, SARMS can be a real game changer for him in his prep,as well, and most contest testing methods can't test for them.

If I'm entitled to my own opinion, then why are you knocking it? Again, imo, dieting without drugs is a waste of time. Have a nice day!

Because he's providing evidence that your assertion is incorrect. Of course, if you say that dieting without drugs is a waste of time for YOU, then that's your perspective. Opinions are takes on an issue. Facts are something else. And individual results are something else altogether.

Nah, he didn't provide any evidence.. He simply stated that his daddy dieted natural, so his argument is worthless. Am I supposed to take his words as being factual? He could be lying, or exaggerating for all I know, just for the sake of arguing.

Look, I know people get into shape without drugs, but imo, if a person wants to be competitive, sooner or later they will have to drugs.
