I am about 4 1/2 months out from my beach wedding in Mexico. I am currently in the process of 2 month long quasi-clean bulking cycle. I need help with the cutting part of this 4 month plan. I would consider myself a vet in the gym. Been lifting for the last 14 years and I am pretty good at manipulating my body weight. I have been as beastly 185lbs which, for my frame, is pretty thick. I have also been as lean as 160 lbs. I have no idea what the hell I am doing as far as the cutting part. My body reacts quickly to changes in my diet as well as my training split. Carbs? No carbs? Carb cycling? When should I start cutting? Should I just maintain the same diet the whole time? How do I keep from bloating up? I want to treat this like a contest prep. My wife to be is also very athletic and is the kettlebell queen. She has her diet on point, but feels like she doesn't know how to help me. She is totally into helping me prepare food and help me obtain my goal. My goal is to be about 175-180 and as ripped as possible. Right now I am about 170ish and 8-12%bf. My diet is pretty clean with a few indescretions from time to time. I am not trying to hard right now and my obliques and the top 4 pack of my abs are showing with a hint of my lower 2 abs.
