How about tuna + whole wheat barrila plus pasta + miracle whip?
I dont want to hear u say u dont have time to precook that one! lol

But seriously, barilla makes a "whole wheat plus pasta" it is made from flax too and its protein is in the 17-18g/serving.

So thats about 50g protein in 1 meal balanced with carbs and some flax =]

Easy to make, 5 mins most to make 5 dishes.

I made up the basic format in Excel. Every 3 months or so, I change the exercises & formats around & print off another 5 or 6 rounds worth. I put em in a 3 ring binder.
If you want I can email it to you.
 
I want everyone's opinion on non-fat yogurt.
There is another post on this same forym saying that yogurt actually helps you to lose weight. What is your opinion, should I throw it in and what would be the dosage?...thanks

It's a joke. I was saying I inject 2 grams, intramuscular, Every Other Day, with a 27 gauge needle, which is pretty fricken small.

Yogurt is fine as long as you incude it in your ratios. It has a decent amount of sugar and you have to be careful about that. But if you really like it and want one for desert go for it. Just depends on how strict you want/need to be.

Ya I got to the gym and the diet is still slacking. I just have to much on my plate (pardon the pun) and dont really even want to have a strict diet. Eating kinda shitty right now is keeping me sane. hehe. I am sure within the next week or 2 all these foods I havent ate in so long will get old and I will be back on track.

ohh yea and william, the calcium in the yogurt is an added benefit of midsection fat loss. but thats about it.... if u get enough dairy u dont need the yogurt...

that avi is me after the surgery. Got a long way to go, LOL.
Healing good, my workouts are still a little off, due to the down time. Takin it easy getting back to form.
There is a spot on my incision, at the bottom. It's been tender, but lately it's gotten a little swollen. Last night I scratched some dead skin off & it split, just a pinhole, but some white pus came out, with some blood.
Got some more out today after my shower softened it up.
Going to the clinic tomorrow, I think.
Don't know how normal suppuration is this long after surgery

I woukd think of it rather as having to change your lifestyle ... Legs are last to go for me ... midsection may be the last to go for you ... Once you get where you want, then you figure out how to maintain ... there is never a start point & finish point, the process is on going & you are doing a fabulous job rand ... :)

what she said! tummy is the last to go for me too, and my diet is pretty clean :evil: Hubby also has the same problem, but his diet is not. Keep on going your doing awesome!
 
as mm would say I KILL THAT sh*&! today ran 4 miles at 6.0 I love it! new running program this week, weeeeeeeee. Trainer tomorrow :) must tone the fat off the stomach and legs BIG TIME, but it will come hopefully soon enough for the competition, if not what can you do!

I KILLED THAT SH*&! at the park today, hee hee. Actually did legs and posing and I can barely move!
Trainer said it is a go and she actually want me to do September 16-bodybuilding and then October 7th-figure!

New diet and new program next week, she gave my cd to a chorigrapher which I see next week, and learned the relaxed poses (which aren't that relaxing), front bicep and walking on and off stage (got to practice that one a lot, looks like there is a stick up my butt) let the jokes fly, LOL!

Thanks you, I should take a camera video of my posing walk today for a good laugh (remember I did not stick a broom up my ass, hee hee) nope, we will definitely have a video of the comp day, but yes bunny I will need your help with the pictures tonight, email, yes????

Your husbands helper? Technicially its called Fabricator Assistant. haha Its what every high school kid start off at. Lotta sweeping and dirty work. But you have an oppertunity to learn a ton. thanks everyone, getting the interview was actually HARD, nobody want to apprentice a woman welder, I applied to , and I am not joking 80 places! They would rather ship forgein workers before hiring me! It is really an eye opener, here you have somebody in Canada, willing to learn and work and nope!

I will have to take a pre apprentice thing before anyone will look at me so far. It won't be with my hubby yet....he is quiting his job and then maybe after!

here we go, 10 at night taken so tummy is not looking great (not that it ever does) but she swears it will be gone for the competition. As well, legs are more muscular then the pics show :) I have to work on flexing them a lot more too!

I actually now have 3 interviews!!!! one for welders helper, two for apprentice welder, also somebody asked me to watch their kid for them. The one company wants to hire me and my husband! Now there are tooooo many choices!

But hubby and I are sooo torn about the kids in daycare, my oldest went to daycare,but.... so we are going back and forth between......

1. opening a dayhome
2. apprenticeship welder/carpenter/instrumentation
3. finish my personal trainer diploma (yup I started it, never finished)
4. business school


AHHHHHHHHH

If there is a community college around you some times they have good welding programs. Thats what I did after high school to become certified. Cheap and is GREAT to put on resume. My tips.

1) If its RED dont touch it. I dont know how many times I have poked myself with hot electrodes and mig wire. shit can hurt.

2) where gloves always if possible.

3) Try to stay away from jobs that will have you grinding all day. Very unhealthy and a shitty job.

4) PRACTICE.

LOL, I stuck a hot TIG filler rod into my leg one day. Didn't hurt too much at the time, cauterized it, got swollen & sore as it was healing fromthe inside out. I still have the mark on my thigh.

The interviews SUCKED! First one, she said I need experience, well duh!!! They saw from my resume I had none, what was I supposed to pull some out of my ass, but she said to practice welding with my husband and call her back. The position was for a welder helper, a person who helps a welder (pretty much hand them rods) what other experience do a fucking need.

Next place: Was for a welding apprentice position sooo the fucking advertisement said. I get there and it is a fucking chop shop and he said "Oh we have enough welders here but you can be a get this..... a fucking metal carpentar, what the fuck is a metal carpentar??? It is a person that takes pieces of metal and bolts them together, for how much money???? 14 bucks an hour. Then he has the fucking nerve to say to me "you know you are going to get dirty", but if I want I can putz around with the welding equipment at lunch or after work, what the fuck is that?????AAHHHHHHH

Then my mother in law, bless her fucking heart (no really I do love her) but she says to me "why don't you become a teller, a fucking bank teller??????

My fucking goal now is to either apprentice in carpentry or welding and some way some fucking how I will do it, then I am going to go to the apprentice board and every other fucking company that won't hire a person because she is a fucking woman and educate them on the fact that there are people here that want to work and are willing to get fucking "Dirty" to get the fucking job done, and if a man doesn't have to go to a fucking pre-trade school to fucking apprentice then why should I????

Kay I am (well I a might as well say it again) fucking done.

and I have another interview tomorrow.

Now I am going to the gym.

CK- hang in there. Shops are dominated by men. Egos are HUGE. Everyone thinks they are the best at what they do. I dont think any of them could handle being out performed by a women. They are just scared. Cant your husband buy/rent/barrow a small syncrowave (tig welder). They run about a 1000$ for an air cooled one are are REAL nice. Maybe try to download or rent welding movied from a public library. Read on the process. Understand the process. It can get pretty complicated but its all basic electronics. I used to practice on my lunch breaks tig welding. It sucked but I had to because thats the only time where they would let me practice and not work. Grab some sheet metal out of the scrap bin and just start putting shit together. Run laps, T welds, and butt welds. They after you get good weld in different postions. Babe, just be patient you will get it. To bad your married, I have a weld naked class I run on friday nights. :) Not that much welding going on though.

Are they gonna care that much about TIG yet? Not sure about shops down there, but in my region, most shops start you out fabbing on stick or MIG, all positions, then move on to TIG & exotic metals.

No, haven't started a log yet. I'll start one this weekend. Get the wife to do a full set of measurements. New pics, etc.

im taking it easy untill monday or wedsnday i think, TO HEAL my shoulder. Its better already but you know the EGO again, i dont want to work anything untill im 100%.

BUT its a blessing in disquise because i know my HIP/GRoin Muscles are weaker then the other stabilition muscles. I can really feel them when sqauting heavy, When i did 405x1 i felt like they were gonna explode. So looks like i got 2 extra days to train misc muscles for couple hours.

Kill that Shit!
 
Cityhick - yup, I am going to be patient, It was my first experience yesterday, and I have definitely learned from it. Hubby is going to take me to his shop to practice and I am reading his books so I know it will come. I found another job to apply for..they need an apprentice welder to build metal furniture, and well since I build furniture already this might be interesting.

This second interview today is mainly for hubby, I started putting in my cover letter that my hubby was a b pressure welder and that is one of the reasons I am interested, just to see what would happen. applied and they asked for hubby to work there and apprentice me.

I am sure your girlfriend is an excellent welder now with your weekend courses :)

I went camping, got some sun. Had a few :beer: . I certainly don't drink like I used too.

I'm 206.0 lbs right now ( ~ 203lbs in the am after the power piss) ... 13% bf tested a few weeks ago (194lbs test weight)... prolly 14% now, lol

:) Happy with my progress so far - kinda mid "lean" bulking... only 1 5x5 session under my belt so far. Loved it... really kicks your ass a bit, more than I thought :evil:

As your weight keeps going up your arms will get proportionally larger :) keep at it bro! :beer:

I'm not so happy with having to separate my wardrobe cuz stuff's not fitting so well anymore... t shirts are tiny, pants too snug, lol... I never thought I'd be growing in the summer months!!

I hope you're killin' it at the jobski bro!!! :artist:
 
I know what your saying about the clothing. all m y Ts are way to small on my chest and arms. I don't mind it to much cause I'm kinda showin off. my problem is that I am stocky with a short torso. so I get a shirt to fit my arms and chest and it fits like a dress.

o well a good problem to have.

I know what you mean. I'm not exactly fit, by any means, but when I get a shirt that fits my neck & shoulders, it's friggin huge on my thorax & sleeve length. $50.00 for a dress shirt that doesn't even fit properly.

You already know my progress, hee hee. I do have to say I too am having problems getting shirts to fit in the arm area now! Too tight in the arms, too loose in the front :rolleyes:

Goals:
- run 5k in 20 minutes,
- Do at least one pull up, more someday....,
- completly loose my gut (though I think plastic surgery would be my only way out and I ain't spending that kind of money on a tummy! hee hee)
-work on my bootie and back of my arms more!
- find a f*&(&(*^^%$^$ job! :)
 
Alright I'm in but I'm not sure about stats. 5'8" 173 right now bf% dont know still kinda high but much better IMO.
 
Thanx for the props. 5% I wish lol, but I'm thinking I got it down to around 14-15% or so, but since I've never had it done who knows maybee its even a little higher.

Thanx, I'm 23 and training is nothing special just kinda finding what works best for me. Hard and heavy, form ofcourse being KEY. I'm currently on a 5 day schedule 4 on 1 off. Day1 chest, 2 back and tris (deadlift every othe back day), 3 shoulders( always some form of clean ie: hang/power or clean and jerk), 4Legs and Bi's. I lift really heavy on all my compound/core lifts anywhere from 6 reps all the way down to 2. Just started my cardio a couple of months ago eod or 2 on 1 off. Usually first thing in the morning or if I'm lazy (wich happens alot,lol) I'll do it last thing at night after all of my meals. I'm always switching it up usually HIIT on the eliptical for 20 min , or 40 min steady on the eliptical, and I cant forget about the stepmill for only 15-20 min,gotta love it. Diet is pretty basic, CHEAT alot, no jk but it sure is HARD. Itry to get around 250 protien 150 carbs and fat probably aournd 100, but I could be wayyyyy off because I havent really been keeping a good log of my macro's, just kinda eyeing things up you know. Although Its about time to get a little more serious and quit being scared to burn myself out wich seems to be my excuse as of lately.

Its crazy because i packed mad food and ate all day. Guess all the walking/sun really drained my water.
