Coffee?

I've been reading your post for a few months and most of the diet's I see don't say much about Coffee.
I have about 3 to 4 8oz cups aday. (Black)
Is this ok or should I cut them out all together?

Caffiene is good for fat burning. But is also a diuretic, so increase water, also causes delpletion of electrolytes like potassium, and can lessen absorbtion of certain vitamins and minerals. So take you multivitamins at seperate times.

I have found caffeine to be a great addition to my fat-burning stacks. Yet, remember, when you stop coffee, you get real bad headaches. I think it's due to the frontal lobe of the brain that responds to stimuli that coffee induces. Because, I get the worse headaches when I stop my daily caffeine intake, it's just unimaginebly bad.

I'm so pissed off, I can't have coffee anymore. I have been drinking it for years one cup a day, no more, and now it gives my arryhthmias, (irregular/ectopic heartbeat) which is very common in women apparently.

My Doc gave me an ecg and told me I should try and stop the coffee for a couple of weeks an experiment, I've never missed a beat since.

So now I have to have decaf (which is so crap) but it's better than nothing.

Just my selfish, nothing to do with the post two pence sterling!

Sorry to hear that Sheena.

Have you tried various types of herbal teas, or different varieties of decaff - some will taste a lot nicer than others.

Ironically I have, I just came back from a Spanish holiday, and Spanish Nescafe Decaf or 'Descafinado' as they say, is sooo nice it tastes just like the real deal. So I bought shitloads home.

And then I don't suffer enitrely, there is always the greatest coffee heaven on earth Starbucks (thank you America for bringing it to us) they do every one of their items in a decaf alternative.

I just miss the caff buzz. But I'd rather have the decaf than the flutters in my chest.
