Trainer day! gave her the music last week, got to set up another appointment to go over posing and another program and diet. I realize it is that time of the month again, and I was sick, but shouldn't my weight be going down?????? just venting out loud, I know my trainer will reveal all :)

If you look when I was dieting down.. my weight would go up sometimes.. and then there would be a 3-4 pound drop.
Glad to hear things are coming together. Don't worry about the weight... That's your trainer's responsibility! :heart:

trainer was a nooooo show, she left her keys with her hubby. I see her tomorrow :rolleyes: talked to her and she said water retention/muscle gain for the weight gain. other than that going to do some cardioeoooo now.

Soooo, new diet next week, it is a goooo September 16th!!!!!! Competition Day. Practiced posing, now I have to fill out all the registration forms. I learned the quarter turns, walking on an off stage and front bicep. I pretty much look like there is something shoved up my butt when I am walking LOL.

I am excited!!! now off for Cardio!!!!!!

Well I am going to take pics tonight, but not of me walking :). I am trying to relax, I think now that I will be practicing every night, I hope it will get better, I know I was excited and nervous, hee hee.

And I keep on forgeting to squeeze my butt muscles oh yeah and breath, when I am standing in the relaxed pose. I have a feeling I am going to be waking up screaming tonight from cramps.
 
Ooh! Fun fun!! How exciting! You WILL get better with practice. ;) Heels are tough enough on their own, let alone with you have to concentrate on other things while walking! :lmao:

Thanks everybody for your support and well wishes. I will practicing walking and posing in the interview, yup walk in there like I have something shoved up my bum, huge smile on my face clenching my butt cheeks.... now there is a visual. LMAO :)

There are a couple in Canada - check them. You could always have her ship to one of us and we can then ship out to you.....just a thought.

There are ways around things, GF! Don't give up so easy! lol

SuitsYou have some good ones too - as do the others. They're all pretty similar, so you can still get exacty what you want at a great price. Just look thru all the sites. It'll be ok! :)

Sooooo, took these at 10pm last night, little bloated...I have excuses though! as well, I know I start dieting down next week and she told me my tummy would be gone, soooooo we shall see!

I hate to toot my own horn but the pics don't do justice to the legs, they actually do look a lot more muscular but that will also come through when I get a better tan. As well, I noticed my tummy is not as dark as the rest of my body :)

I would like everybody to critize to let me know if I am not placing a body part right in my poses. (eg hands)

Oh - love the pics, ck! Guns and back look like they're coming in nicely. Yep....can't really see the legs. I can tell there are abs there, but looks like maybe a little water or little fat (but just a little :D ) over them right now. Looks like you have a nice quad sweep - and the calves look good.

Girl - I can't wait to see you all leaned out!!!!!

You mean ALOT of fat, hee hee, it is ok, having three kids and no exercise with all of them, from where I came till now, i am proud, what can one expect! as well aunt is coming... there are my excuses!

We have those that chose to lead, even follow, direct, help, listen, encourage, inspire and guide ... but these are ways to help you find YOUR path on this 'roadmap of life' ... You try new things, learn what works for you, and what does not (SO much fun eh?) but in the end you are different, making each little tidbit your own in some way b/c YOU put the finishing touch on something ... you end up better, smarter, and find out things you never knew about yourself ... You realize YOU are in control of your life ... so live it ... love it & appreciate it. You are ALL of those things b/c you decided not to take shit from anyone and hurl it right back when life tries to get you down ... I ADMIRE you for that... and yes I got *chills* reading this outloud to myself.

AHHHHH- your making me cry again and I just put make up on!

I also printed off your too, my hubby is going to come home and be like "WTF" no actually he will smile cause he knows what GREAT people are on here and how much you support.

ps... you have every right, I am proud to eknow you too! and you ARE doing it! One day, hubby and I will have to come for a bike ride with you and your wife!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics!!! You have really reshaped yourself there girlie.....and you changed your hair....

I can't comment on the poses as I've never done BB....but I do highly suggest you really practice holding the poses for minutes on end to help avoid the shake & to get used to it.....

As for suits - order them NOW (as well as the shoes) & give the suit maker a show date of about 1 month prior to the actual show....I know you'll have to guesstimate your body size, shape, etc, but I didn't get my suits until 5 days before the show and that was WAY too stressful IMO.....

Looking AWESOME!! You'll look fantastic in September!! :rose: :heart:

Well, shaking is one of those little things that can lower your placing....plus, depending on the size of your class, it's possible you could be up there for a little while.......also make sure you've got your "relaxed" pose down....

I am in the FAT class, LOL, totally joking, hee hee. thank you very much for the pointers. I know when I pose my face makes me look like i am in extreme pain or I am trying to crap and can't LMAO

Its really weird trying to practice posing and look like you are enjoying it, first, becaues you aren't enjoying it, and second, because you have no real audience in front of you so you feel goofy looking at yourself. Couple ways to deal w/ that:

Have a friend video tape you in a "dry run" so you can see how the audience would see you. It might reveal some unconscious tendencies. For ex, when I looked at photos from my 2nd competition, I was biting my lower lip the whole time - no idea why I was doing that because I didnt' do it in my show 4 months earlier and didn't recall doing it before in general. But it was obviously an unconscious nervous habit. As a result I worked on relaxing my mouth when I held poses (also keeps the pressure off your jaw / teeth which contribute to that constipated look).

Also a BIG contribution to my ability to smile was the comfort at my show last May that I had a bunch of supporters in the audience, I could hear them (coudlnt' see them), I knew I already had my posing down, and at this point all I had to do was strut my stuff. That is such a liberating attitude to enter a show with -I highly recommend it.

And if you really need to get past the stage fright aspect, I highly recommend a glass of red wine pre-show :)

Also a BIG contribution to my ability to smile was the comfort at my show last May that I had a bunch of supporters in the audience, I could hear them (coudlnt' see them), I knew I already had my posing down, and at this point all I had to do was strut my stuff. That is such a liberating attitude to enter a show with -I highly recommend it.

And if you really need to get past the stage fright aspect, I highly recommend a glass of red wine pre-show :)

My trainer and I talked about the wine, alcohol makes me sick at the best of times, i can't especially given my conditions and the fact that I will be totally carb depleted won't help arrrr maybe I will smoke a joint for medicinal purposes LMAO! just joking

I have been walking around the house like I am going to be walking on stage, the kids thought I was on crack at first, but they are getting used to it. I have to practice being graceful, not my strongest trait :)

Another way to set your frame of mind is to STRUT! Its your chance to shine & show off what God gave you in all your glory! WORK IT GIRL!

Put on that RuPaul music and WORK IT GIRL!

Practice, practice, practice.... I had a friend take pictures and put them into powerpoint so I could see how my poses changed week to week, and how my physique changed...
