Don't worry about offending me, I have been saying a lot worse! Trying to get new ID has been really hard. I don't know if anyone has seen planes, trains and automobiles but when Steven Martin goes to rent a car and has his fit on the lady that would be me! My husband just laughed. Thanks, if i do get the van back, but it has been three days, I have a feeling it is out of province now. In fourteen days I can look forward to purchasing another vehicle, on saturday I have to get new car seats and rent a car cause we haven't been able to go anywhere. Living at my mom's house right now is a good thing, she watches the kids while I get things done.

I've heard that a lot of times, they'll drive it until it's almost out of gas and then park it somewhere and grab another. Did you have a full tank?

Thats what I am doing and I bought myself a pretty purple lock! I am the little (well kinda big) engine that could :verygood: Two more weeks and the routine changes. I will be bulking, very excited, I constantly need change in my workouts or I get bored. Hubby comes home on Sunday so no cheating for me, I always try to look my best when he gets home and when I cheat I eat too many carbs and we all know what happens there so that is my motivation for the weekend :)

Well I am just guessing the competition is in November, my first, she said the program changes in 6 weeks, (two away) and I would need somebody to spot me for sure in the next phase. She said I would be cutting for 20 weeks before the comp in November.

You know you've had a good week when your son says to you "Daddy missed all the fun we had this week!" , almost cried, felt bad for him but good for me knowing the kids had fun. So the week didn't end up to bad!

My trainer put me on 1800 on the days I work out and 1200 on the days I don't. I think she is easing me into it because before that since Nov I was on a strick 900 cal diet (a weight loss company)which I found out, though my own research it wasn't good. I can't wait to get to the gym!

she has laid out all portions and all foods I can eat on a list (though I wish it was in ounces not grams). I am to have a protein and a carb with every meal (portion size she has given. and vegtables are free all day long. I am supposed to have a cheat DAY. but I did it once at the very beginning and got really sick. So I reserve it to a meal and alcohol (if I feel like it) on the weekend. I come pretty close with the percentages on fitday but I only have 2 weeks left and she is changing it again.
Started at 136 pounds/5'5/24.6%body fat. Been doing it for 4 weeks and the first week I gained 4 pounds but now I am 134 and getting my body fat tested again next week!
 
So she's basically got you on a zig zag. I'm wondering why the carbs are higher than the protein though......If your getting your bf tested this week, we'll see if it's working for ya'! Can't wait!!!! :)

I have been wondering the same about the carbs, I haven't had a chance to talk to her at all. Going to make an appointment tonight. She basically gave me the nutrition and the program. I can't afford to train with her so I have been doing it on my own or with my hubby. Though she told me for the next phase it is crutial I work with someone cause I am bulking. I am worried about that! I talked with her manager and asked about the next phase and she told me I would be eating even more carbs!

It's typical to eat more carbs when you're bulking. However, protein is equally if not a little MORE important. I'm curious to see what she comes up with.

nope a pipe line welder, welds on live pipelines! Scary, but pays well, but he is gone all the time! He works very hard though to support all of us! Love him :heart: I am going to miss living at my mom's house cause when he is gone I have a babysitter for the gym. But at least my gym has daycare, but it gets expensive after awhile, oh well you gotta do what you gotta do. Like how I replace all the negs with positives man I need sleep!

Yup if I make it through tonight, going to take a long bath and hit the bed early!

Still have so much snot in my head it is coming out of my eyeballs! Up all night with my girls they both slept in my bed, coughing and snoting, my youngest is one big snot factory! How that for a visual :)
I want to go to the gym so bad today but I am not sure if I will get worse. Oh well, maybe I will do just as good as I did on leg day cause I want to go. I am already switching friday to saturday for my son's b-day (movie night) no popcorn for me, I am going to try be on my best behaviour. Gotta go to the bank and get some money for the house. I hate the fact that it no longer my money! :)

I just wanted to politely warn you against working out while you are sick. Your immune system is working hard enough as it is, without causing more havoc by damaging the muscles with a workout. Please feel free to learn from my mistakes. :)

I was wondering about that, I want to so bad but I don't want to get worse. I take it you did it, did you not get better, pull a muscle, get more sick? PS... you don't have to be polite just bluntely say, cause I would rather know then go and get worse :)

Very good advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen to your body. Recover properly and then go back at it in the gym when your body can focus on building and repairing muscle instead of trying to fight off a virus. Hope you feel better soon :)

Thanks, that is what the doc said too :rolleyes: Bought some Vitamin C for me and pedialite freezies for the kids (I might steal one for myself) :)

I found if I scramble 4 whites, 1 whole and add some Butter Buds, they taste MUCH better!

April 7th

Feeling better today, besides no sleep, all my kids were up last night. Won't be going to the gym today but it is all right, we are taking my son to a movie for his b-day! We, meaning my hubby is home today! Still have Saturday and sunday to make up for thursday and friday, here is hoping! Have to go to mother-in-laws on saturday and my husband still works this weekend, plus the gym isn't open 24hrs on the weekend! Ug, but I will just have to watch what I eat and do what I can at home if I can't get there (have a treadmill and some weights at home) So I am planning on 1200 cal days for the next three if I work out I will have an extra shake or something :)

Still have to get back, biceps, shoulders, abs and calves done plus 3 sessions of cardio! Maybe I will do something tonight when kids go to bed (thinking out loud).

I have to get so much done this weekend I am trying not to think about it! My husband is leaving again tomorrow! But I am going to try get to the gym or lift something, if not I am just doing 1200 cal days, on the 11th I get a whole new program and diet, I can't wait but I don't want to screw things up in 5 days, can you say paranoid! :)

We will be looking or at least I will be looking for a new van next week! *&^*&^*^* to the (*&(**&(*& who stole my van!

They found our van, it is bitter sweet, our kids car seats were gone, but the thieves left their kids car seat instead, and everything else was gone too, andthey tried to take the speakers but failed. But everything can be replaced. My four year old was so happy, you know what she was the most worried about....we went on vacation this winter and she collects rocks and we put them in the trunk, I completely forgot about them, but she asked if they were still there! and they were, she was so very happy so that made everything better!

No they didn't find the person, I doubt they ever will, but the rocks made everything better, we didn't know what she was talking about at first, she was bawling but when I checked and they were there she had the biggest smile on her face. Now she is telling everybody the bad guys didn't take her rocks! :)
 
update:

and so concludes puke fest 2006! Last night including myself we were up all last night puking! I guess we aren't over what ever we have, ug!!!!

So the diet thing, not so good considering I can't eat anything! and won't be going to the gym tomorrow either, but tuesday is the day for the bodyfat check and new program so I guess it was meant to be. I wonder if being sick will effect the bf%? oh well, can't do anything about it.

That's so cool that they found it. Too bad they couldn't do a little dusting and find the assholes!!! Chances are, if they steal cars, they're in the system somewhere and can be found.

Glad you got the van back, that should save you a penny from having to buy a new vehicle. :)

Yup, and my dad bbq'd steak yesterday, we are all very sad, what a waste! there is some left over but nobody dares to waste it! We love our meat.

Made everybody chicken noodle soup with crushed crackers, didn't last very long in my kids, they still are expelling :) and now hubby too. Thank god, I am over it so I can take care of them. My hubby was up all last night going to me and our kids, with buckets and towels, poor guy is so tired!

Not really panicing since there is nothing I can do about it, plus I could make the BF% testing later but i am too impatient.

there was no gym for me today again!, ug, due to stupid things happening and my body being so cramped up. Trying not to get upset, with the new house, which looks awesome and all the shit today and for the next week its going to be tough but I knew that! So today hubby and I went to get the boys their b-day gifts and there was a car seat check. Well we passed but our car didn't have registration (when we moved to my mom's house we didn't change our drivers license and didn't get the notification) we didn't have our insurance on us cause it was in my purse which was stolen with the van. He let us go on the insurance cause he phoned but $300.00 dollars and 3 hours later (how long we had to wait at registry) we got our registration. Fuck I was pissed, it could of been a lot worse and he could of towed our car so a good day turned out bad! So tomorrow morning, first thing I am going to the gym....so April 13 is now April 14th.

So today my husband and I ran around a lake by our house today. 5km, now last year I couldn't make it all the way around, had to stop several times and could barely breath. Well today I could of gone around it twice and I didn't even break a sweat going around it once! I love it. Day like these shows what good diet and exercise are all about. Not to mention my family all commented on how good I looked (which makes me wonder how bad I looked before) but whatever! Then I had a killer arm workout today, you can see the veins in my arms now! Was supposed to do legs but that will be tomorrow!

concentration curls = 15
tricep extentions = 15

one arm db curls = 15
over head tricep = 15

5km run!

So my trainer is worried about my good old stretch marks around my stomach come comp time. I told her duct tape and we will paint it brown. I don't have a lot of loose skin left just a wee bit (scotch tape)
She said I have to wear a pretty revealing bikini and well I am scared, not for myself but for everybody else. I truly hope the tanning will help but if there are any other suggestions......

And so I asked this question on the medical board but I will ask here just in case any one reads my log. I am getting an MRI tomorrow to confirm Multiple Sclerosis or something else. Does anyone know anybody who has MS and bodybuilds, lifts weights? Having problems with muscles, numbness and other stuff and would like some suggestions on the matter. :worried:

I don't... but from what I have heard MS patients do much better with weight training so as the disease/age progresses they are better off then to have not done anything. My mom has a muscle disease in the MS family unfortunately she has no will power or desire for fitness and has taken it's toll. Many days when she has pain but it's something you have to learn to live with and make the most of no matter what!
