I agree. I think it isn't as clean to have an uncircumsized wee wee. I remember a good family friend had a little boy and she didn't circumsize him and I took care of him and had to change his diaper and all that and clean him and well, let's just say that I'd rather have circumsizeds boys.

At that age, if you were doing anything to try to clean under his foreskin, you were abusing the child. It's not retractible then, and it should be left the hell alone. From the perspective of a caregiver, all you should have noticed was that his glans was covered by a tube of skin.

That's the problem with American foreskin-ignorance, there's no one who can tell you what sort of maintenance is required for the standard equipment because no one has any experience. Most of the reported "problems" with toddlers' foreskins are caused by their mommies who insist on trying to pull it back and clean it.

Hold on - I never said that I had to pull it back and clean it. When I was talking about cleaning him I was talking about changing his diaper in general, but I noticed that there was the foreskin on him which I didn't touch because I wasn't certain about. Then I asked about it and I was told that down the road when he was older, it would be different keeping it clean verses a non circumsized one. Many little boys who aren't showed how to clean the foreskin develop hygiene issues because it can get infected much easier. Especially if it isn't cleaned.
