^^ Although I sincerely believe that you don't know what you are talking about a lot of the times when you are throwing judgement left and right regarding fighting, but I want you to know that I respect your opionions. I dnt want to come off like an ass. You are entitled to your opinion. Just thought I should say that.

I never hate anyone. Heck, I don't even KNOW anyone!

But I'll say what I say intelligently before playing xbox. It's free, and hey, no warranties are implied. :)

Chuck actually does have great ground game. We don't see it because we don't have to. He likes to stand up so he uses his ground game to keep it on the feet but he's actually very well versed in grappling and SUBMISSIONS and he has been for a long time.

Never seen his ground game. Can't judge.

Chuck vs Kimbo would probably look like Hooch vs Sapp years ago, smaller skilled fighter making a big hype machine cry and gasp for air

A) Are you talking about Ernesto Hoost? You do remember that while Sapp did look like a giant uncoordinated ogre against hoost.........he did in the end wind up winning "BOTH" fights by literally lifting Hoost up off the ground with an uppercuts. It was Hoost's own fault, he did dominate Sapp and then decided to play rope a dope to prove some manly point that he could take punches from a 380 pound muscle gorilla.

B) I would not like to see Chuck in the octagon against Kimbo. Chuck is not one of those guys light heavies that could do well going up in weight. And he would have to go up to compete physically with Kimbo. Chuck has the power to rock most lhw's.......but Kimbo is a different story. Rampage could go up though.

But I really don't like Chuck talking shit like that........he's a professional fighter in a whole nother weight class. We here at EF are fans, so it's natural for us to discuss fighters.........but as another fighter who's never going to step in the ring with Kimbo..........it's just not good bro material.

I know Sapp won the fights, they used to show them all the time on ESPN. But he got embarrassed and showed how terrible his conditioning and heart was in the one when Hoost came out kicking him in the thigh over and over. He was huffing and puffing and literally had tears in his eyes. Then, even after he won, he couldn't continue on (this was the K1 tournaments when you kept fighting after you won) and it was Hoost who still got to continue in the tournament.

I think everyone will pretty much agree that Sapp was a joke and that once the novelty of his size and build wore off, and he stepped into the ring with good fighters there was nothing left but a big shit talking asshole who had no problems disgracing the sport whenever given the opportunity.

I see Kimbo's career following a much similiar path

Yuo all make somewhat valid points. Only thing is I find Kimbo to be misunderstood. While we're fighting over his skill, he's training his ass off to give us a good show.

at least give Kimbo credit that he does "fight".........and not just corner off the ring and crowd guys like Sapp does. I give Sapp credit for being the physical specimen that he is......although his "trainer" used to run/own Tokyo labs........hmmmm??...

I think a trained Kimbo will be someone to recon with, just my opinion, if he gets beat down in his next few fights, then we'll know it was all show and no go.
