Since whey digests inside of an hour it would not be the best choice.
Casien (milk protein) or Micellar casien would be your best bet to accomplish this. As they digest slower than most protein sources.
If you can't get a casien shake then an alternative would be to; use a whey shake with the flavors you suggested, add a good 16oz of milk (80% casien, over 20g of protein), and add 3-4 tablespoons of some kind of unsaturated (oil) fats such as; olive oil, flax oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil and fish oils, they can all be used for slowing the rate of carbohydrate and protein digestion.
