Chewing Tobacco

It may give you an energy boost and some claim great focus; however since it is a vaso-constrictor it limits flow of oxygen to muscles and any benefits gained from it would be severely overshadowed by this fact. It is a bad habit and should definetly be given up if he is serious about his goals and his health.

Caffeine is also a vaso constistor. Funny how it's in nearly every preworkout "pump" product. You'll probably be hard pressed to find many bbers/athletes who do not use caffiene.

IMO nicoteine has little to no negative effect on athletes. Unless of course theyre smoking. Sure long term use of smokeless tobacco is bad for your health. So is slamming caffiene preworkout and eating a pound of red meat daily.

i agree here for the most part. nicotine does have an instant effect on cardiovascular health no matter how its taken its just not that big alone to notice like you do from smoking because smoking has a lot of other added efects.

there are no imediate effects that you will see. but it is taking away rom his health and poor health has a negative effect on physical performance. its no less stupid than smoking cegarrets.

HMMMM well I will say this.
I quite smoking a few times. I used to switch over to dip for a month or so and then I was able to quite both after that..

As for health overall dip is bad yes very very bad. However from the stand point of a bodybuilder or anyone in any kind of sport at all. Dip is a lot better then smoking. Smoking kicks the living fuck out of your cardiovascular system. DIP does no more damage to that then some one who takes in a lot of stims/ caffeine.

Of course dip will fuck up your teath and gums a lot more though.
