Chest workout...

I am finally lifting enough weight that I am afraid to do barbell work w/o a spot, and I hate lifting with someone. So...that leaves:
Hammer Strength and dumbbells.

I've been doing DB incline, decline, and flat for three weeks and I'm going crazy. So I switched to these HS machines.

The cool thing about them is the HUGE amounts of weight I can push. The not so cool thing: I know I look like a poser sitting in a maching pushing a ton of weight. The really uncool thing: I dont feel like I am getting the same quality of workout.

What do you guys do? I mean, do you just stick with DB's do you do BB and ask for a spot? Other ideas are really appreciated.

I have been peforming heavy incline barbell presses in a power rack. I set the safety pins near chest level, so if I fail I will not crush myself. I hate asking people for a spot unless I have a training partner with me.

Yeah, I have thought about this and tried it once. I felt sorta crippled by the restricted range of motion that the rack imposes. I probably just had myself incorrectly positioned. Thanks for the feedback guys...
