Cheat Meals

Say I want a cheat meal and I do not want to go over my maintenence. Do you guys believe the cheat meal can be sqeezed in if you eat really lowfat proteins etc. and let the cheat meal compensate for the rest of you fat for the day?
 
Normally, my cheat meals are carb densed, rather then fat dense, though, at times, it's a mixture of both...

example of a cheat meal: can of baked beans, with a yam, FF cheese and some lean protein (chicken, tuna). The carb breakdown is heavy. Can of BB is close to 30% of the RDA of carbs, I'm guesstimating around 100-120g, the yam is an additional 30-40g

Another cheat meal is: steak (top, round, sirloin...something lean(er) then the rest with a baked potatoe and some A1 sauce or Pesto sauce with chimichurri

To answer your question, don't eat strictly protein w/o either some carbs or some fats in your meals, but, that's just me. You're in good shape, why don't you make it a full day :p

I believe in Carb-Up (refeed days).

Take your weight x 18 that is your daily caloric intake
60%carbs/30%protein/10%fat
split into at least 5-6 meals
look for HIGH-gi for first 3 meals
LOW-gi for last 3 meals

I agree with you that I am in good shape. I dont want to mess up my efforts though. Although my bulk starts in no less than 2 weeks.
 
if you're 'cheating' on ff cheese, you must be the most deprived human being on earth. that stuff tastes like polyester.

Some people have a differnet taste in food, but I do have to concur that cheating IMO is pizza/burgers etc...

Well I had a calzone(small) w/ sausage and cheese and marinara sauce, a reeses pb cup, a large fruit punch, some gummy worms, fries with chedder cheese and some tostitos chips. Sound bad? Not too bad huh?
